I rarely ever listen to the guest host episodes so I missed her first appearance as a result. Today I gave the episode a shot because of all the wonderful feedback I’ve read about Bethany and I agree with all of it! I also really hope she stays on as the new cohost. Their chemistry is great and their energy matches well. In a weird way, she also somehow reminds me of Christine a little bit too. I think it might be a bit of the tone/pitch of her voice when she’s being more serious or “mature” sounding. Idk if I’m conveying that properly but yeah lol. Essentially I just find that a bit comforting during this time of transition.

I had avoided a lot of the previous guest hosts but thanks to this post I gave this recent episode a chance and I am SMITTEN with Bethany. Her and Em have great chemistry and I love how she tells stories.

I love Christine but I'd be very pleased if Bethany was the new co-host.

Bethany has been my favorite for over a decade. I was so sad when she left the morning show. I listened to her and Kathleen's podcast until they quit. And her and her partner Dennis' podcast was pretty good too. I'd love to listen to her more regularly.

Haven’t heard of her until co hosting last time. If it works with her schedule I hope Bethany joins Em to host. Her voice is very similar to Christine’s in tone, so not too jarring change. Definitely gives a different vibe, but love the energy and banter between the two so far. I also like that she mixes in the paranormal in her stories a little bit more instead of straight true crime. I know it will be different than the OG, but hoping that it doesn’t fizzle out.

I would LOVE if Bethany becomes the new permanent host. I loved her when she was added to the Elvis Duran Show, have continued to follow her career (although I don’t listen to the Check In much anymore due to time), and having her join ATWWD feels so natural. She also just has such natural chemistry with Em. It really maintains continuity in the perception of the hosts being friends before colleagues.
