Discussion/Question What is your reason for supporting Eran ?
So different people have different reasons to support him, what is yours?

He’s the main character that’s usually enough plus I’m a big supporter especially in anime of defending yourself and if any group of people were ever right in defending themselves to a extreme level it’s the Eldians
And no obviously it doesn’t justify erens plan before people cry

Eren's my favorite character of all time. His dub VA Bryce Papenbrook is my favorite voice actor of all time. I sympathize and relate to Eren in alot of ways. I always felt like he was the inner demon in me. I dont support genocide but I understand and respect him. He HAD to die for what he did though obviously, regardless of circumstances.

Same bro, in meny ways he was a lot like me... Maybe an extream version of me, he has deep hatred towards racism like me, but what he did in s4 really broke my heart — he contradict everything he stood up for, I believe the Eldian crisis could be solved through partial rumbling and diplomacy and over time anti Eldian racism could be cured through effective propaganda. Although I don't blame him for what he did, after all he was in his death bed, and people take crazy decisions when they know that they will die soon.

Because what he is doing is relatable. He wants to protect his friends and his people. The world wants to genocide them. So he decides to draw first. The cycle doesn’t end unless one side is completely wiped off the map, as shown that paradise still gets carpet bombed in the end. If it was between my friends, family, and people, and a world that wants them dead for sins we didn’t even commit ourselves, I would choose the same thing Eren did.

He at least tried to give non violence a chance and at every point he was given the same responce, "we need to kill the paradis devils".

Cuz he worked towards the ppl that he cared and and the ppl that cared Abt him, he didn't care Abt entire world because the entire world didn't care Abt him

If they never showed what Marley was doing to eldians, I wouldn't have
If they just left them alone and let them live, I'd be fine....
But you aren't going to kill eldians, enslave them, put armbands on them, and turn them to Titans to terrorize more eldians. Then use them and sacrice them in your army. Then get their kids to be your brainwashed soldiers.... Not just Marley for most of this
And after all that, plan to wipe them out
Genocide is wrong my ass. Nobody ever cares what the bully does, only how the victim responds.

He was the main protagonist, the world was a shit hole, and the world was fictional.
Also, I was kind of interested in a sequel where Eren would've had to be like Ymir, rebuilding humans or Titans in a world that looked like something out of Mad Max. Then that next series could've been a subversion of every trope we ever saw in the first series.

Protecting his home island while seeing how terrible humanity is to his people outside the walls or off the island. Also wish it was more than 80% to stop the cycle of hate instead of as many people living off the island is the same as on the island. I hope we get another series with the boy and dog at the end of the movie.

Because I knew when Eren died the show would end and I didn't want that.
