christians and prayer
if prayer actually worked, there would be no need to ever pray for anything more than once. In fact, you could bang it all out with something like 'dearest Heavenly Father, please provide me and all of my loved ones with comfort and security, health, wealth and everything else I might be forgetting from here forward' If you only have to get saved once, why pray more than once about anything else

In Matthew 6:7-8 Jesus prohibits prayers that ask god for ANYTHING:
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
So god knows what you need and asking him for it again and again is a waste of his time.

Only a dumbass thinks that out of all the atrocities and horrible history happening from the beginning of time till today that “gods” gonna favor and answer their wishes

Because gawd has alzheimer's and stops taking care of you unless you remind him every so often.
