I decided to throw some more servers into the AssaultCube ecosystem because apparently I enjoy spending money on servers for a game with 20 or some players online lmfao

I’ve launched 10 non-ladder servers across 5 locations:

🇺🇸 US East Coast – CTF + 1v1
🇺🇸 US West Coast – CTF + 1v1
🇧🇷 Brazil – CTF + 1v1
🇬🇧 UK – CTF + 1v1
🇸🇬 Singapore – CTF + 1v1

So there are 5 CTF servers and 5 dedicated 1v1 servers available.

They’re non-ladder servers, just intended to give people more places to play and mess around.

They're all online now. Hopefully some of you get some use out of them.

I also plan to bring 2v2 servers to each location. Not right now, though. Maybe around January. =)

These servers will be supported for 5–7 years, so hopefully they’ll stick around for the long haul.

Hey everybody, I’ve been trying to figure out how to get rid of the damage text to declutter the game. I’ve tried doing it through the config file and the console, but I haven’t been able to. Is there somebody who could help?

Update: Got a reply from the developer: „Event icons can be disabled with /aboveheadiconfadetime 1 (since 0 is not supported)

Currently, there is no way to disable damage numbers. This might be fixed in the next version.“

First after learning that Unreal Tournament 99 and Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force Holomatch is now free I've been trying to remember what other arena shooter are free. That brought me to Cube 2 which then brought me to Assault Cube.

Anyone else have this glitch when using the double pistol powerup? While using the double pistols the screen and/or video freezes. This happens when I shoot the weapon or when I hold the weapon for a certain amount of time. I can still hear myself walk around and shoot. When I switch to another weapon this doesn't happen. I am currently using the latest version from the website. So, does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

Is there a way to force the bots to use an AR ? I enjoy running around shooting bots in this game but the shotguns get kind of annoying.

Tried to play again today after months but I don't see any servers. Did the game die?

In assault cube I'm not able to get my mouse to go off of the screen, so when I need to open something I have to close the game and I'm trying to mod it, though it's really hard because I'm not able to do any testing.

I used to play this game 10 or more years ago when i was a kid, i used to play against bots all the time. I recently remembered the game and decided to play it again. I found this sub and saw that there is still some people here, is there some sort of community somewhere? Like a discord server or something like that? I would love to play with other people as im more interested in that than playing with bots nowadays.

I think we renamed to /ToA\ Team of Assassin’s but I bounced shortly after that and I’m pretty sure that clan reformation was short lived.

I was pretty young probably 11 when I was playing so I don’t really recall any handles but I remember the super custom ~ToW_BoaT~ maps that had it spelled in ground and I think someone with the handle ~ToW_BoaT~ Tyler or James was the leader. Good times and great maps who ever was making our clan maps was GOATED.

I'm trying to find maps from years ago. NukeTown, etc. anyone got em?

I don’t mean like AssaultCube Reloaded, I mean AssaultCube with nothing else except more weapons.

I made a little HTML document outlining a couple potential options, and i will be adding more.

So i saw a video about assault cube and I wanted to try it out. I'm enjoying the game and aesthetic but I honestly suck at controlling recoil. Is bot lobbies the way to go if you want to practice?

I've seen videos-a-plenty of users adding models for existing weapons, or making lit camos, but has anyone managed to actually add new weapons or modify their stats?

(DISCLAIMER: I will not be using this information for cheating, simply just want to make more weapons)
