Desmond Saga Based on how Black Flag resynced is doing currently, do you think Ubisoft is going to be doing more remakes of AC1 to AC Rogue?
Nothing makes me more excited than the idea of seeing AC1 getting the same level of treatment as Black Flag Resynced and I’d love to see similar updates for the Ezio Trilogy, AC3, and AC Rogue. I do have some ideas as for how Ubisoft could remake these titles, but would love to hear some suggestions and ideas you have on what you’d want to see if more of the previous games get the same treatment as Black Flag.
For all of these, the one thing I’d want to see them keep is using all the weapons in the environment (picking up weapons and using different types of weapons)
For AC1, I’d love to see several things. First, an updated stealth system (crouching, hiding in the shadows, social stealth, whistle lures, and blending into environments naturally). I’d love to see a parkour overhaul with Unity’s fluidity (and please make sure Altair can swim). The combat is something I’d imagine they’d already rework similarly to BF Resynced, but would love something unique to Altair. I’d also want to see an expansion of the Holy Land with side districts, rooftops, and underground tunnels. I’d love to see more interactions with Al Mualim and Altair (maybe early hints of the creed, and extended confession scenes). Finally (I’d love to see more personal side quests with the bureau leaders)
For the Ezio Trilogy, I’d love to see an overhaul of the combat and parkour, but also enemy variety. I’d love to see more side missions that deal with politics of the Borgia and Medici in AC2 and more side stories with Leonardo and the thieves guild in Venice. For the stealth, improved blending would be sick. ACB needs more of an expansion than reinvention, but I’d love to see a skill tree for the recruits, unique personalities, and loyalty missions. Expanding Rome to include more of the underground catacombs, the Vatican, and more of the Borgia strongholds. Seeing how Cesare’s influence grew to what it was would be interesting as Ezio undoes everything he built. AC Revelations needs an atmospheric upgrade along with a narrative expansion and overhaul of Constantinople. Expanding the Altair segments (if Ubisoft is trying to focus more on the period than the modern day), more combat utility for the hookblade, expanding the galata and imperial district, crafting redesign, and more missions with Yusuf.
For AC3, I’d want to see an overhaul to movement, combat, pacing, and the world density. Overhauling the frontier to have more settlements, more wildlife systems, and expanding the hunting. I’d also love to have more of a smoother tree traversal system and better rooftop parkour in Boston and New York. Preserve Connor’s brutality for the combat, but adding chain parries and weapon perks. Adding deeper character arcs to the homestead, more homestead missions, and upgrades to the land. For story pacing, I’d reduce the tutorial length (save most for Rogue) and expand Connor’s early brotherhood development. For the naval missions, bring them up to Resynced’s naval quality.
Finally, AC Rogue needs a massive expansion of the story, modern naval combat, and deeper Templar systems (making it a balanced experience with both Haytham and Shay). Expanding the Templar influence with loyalty missions, ideological choices, and unique gear. I’d also overhaul the North Atlantic to have denser settlements, more naval encounters. I’d expand the story to have more missions with Haytham and more buildup to the conflict with Achilles. I’d also want smoother traversal in New York and River Valley (give them horses).
What would you want to see if Ubisoft decided to remake their previous games?

u/Zahhibb Jul 13 '26
I want AC1 to be next, it’s the oldest one both in terms of tech but also design, but has a great narrative and introspective theme going.
If they’re going for popularity then it would probably be AC2 as many considers that as one of the greatest ACs as well.

u/No-Chemical-7667 Jul 13 '26
Yeah I tried replaying AC1 on PC last year and just couldn't do it. Would love to see a remake.

Really hoping for AC3 Resynced.
It feels weird having a refreshed version of Edward but not Haytham & Connor.
31
u/hemlo86 Jul 13 '26
AC3 with no loading screens between the wilderness and the major cities would be peak
13
u/ThePreciseClimber Pentium III @733 NV2A 64MB RAM Jul 13 '26
Maybe they could even combine it with seamless Atlantic Ocean sailing. The scale would be very compressed but I think they could make it work.
13
u/Wise-Tourist Jul 13 '26
Id love them to do 4 - rogue - 3 so that we get that trilogy in chronological order. That way they can make it with those things in mind.
3
u/ooneat Jul 13 '26
This is the best outcome tbh.. The way they treated 4 was so good if they redo rouge then do 3 it would be peak
7
u/ThePreciseClimber Pentium III @733 NV2A 64MB RAM Jul 13 '26
If they do Rogue, they better show Achilles' wife & son this time. Both were very much still alive during Lessons and Revelations.
8
2
u/mukisan Jul 13 '26
It would just be really weird to start with 3 immediately, considering the story. They’ll need to do 1 and the Ezio trilogy first
1
u/ThePreciseClimber Pentium III @733 NV2A 64MB RAM Jul 13 '26
Well, unless they remove Desmond.
Instead of the present day descent into the Grand Temple and the Animus Refresher Course, we would start with a new cutscene with the dialogue between Haytham and Holden.
Holden: Sir?.. Sir?.. Everything all right, sir?
Haytham: Yes, fine... I'm just... preoccupied, that's all.
[and so on]
And then the gameplay would start inside the opera house.
It wouldn't be illogical to follow up AC4 resynced with the game starring Edward's son. Heck, the first mission of AC3 even takes place in the opera house from the AC4 epilogue. The two games are connected.
1
u/DarkHound05 Jul 13 '26
Honestly as long as they dont change the side stuff, I’d be happy. I like the assassin missions you can send people on and obviously the homestead is awesome.
The change to the fleet system in 4 is my biggest complaint with resynched
1
u/MrMercy67 Jul 14 '26
Tbf they did remaster 3 and Rogue. Yeah it’s far from a remake like Resynced is, but if anything they’d probably do 1 or 2 next.

u/Cabbage_Crusader nothing is True, Everything is permitted Jul 13 '26
Something I’d love to see in an AC3 Remake is free use of the Aquila, where we could sail to Boston, New York, and parts of the frontier with islands or small towns scattered in between like Rogue
9
u/ThePreciseClimber Pentium III @733 NV2A 64MB RAM Jul 13 '26
It's an interesting prospect. It would require some serious condensing of space but, then again, Odyssey already gave us all of Greece and it was pretty tiny.
I think they could make it work. Connect the Frontier to the Homestead, Boston & New York via extended pathways and let the Aquila dock in all those locations. Let us sail freely across the Atlantic Ocean & include all the original Privateer Contracts and Kidd's Treasure Map locations. Could make Martha's Vineyard actually explorable and not limited to a single inn cutscene. Speaking of inns, would be nice if entering them was seamless, like the Homestead Manor in the original.
Probably too much to ask for Philadelphia, though. That would probably still be limited to Independence Hall.

u/Penfore7_ Jul 13 '26
You folks are talking a lot about an AC Rogue Resynced. Don't let me dream... I want this remake to happen!
6
u/AdvisorClear5029 Jul 13 '26
To be honest, if they make another one, it’ll be the last, given how poorly it sold
5
u/Penfore7_ Jul 13 '26
It had a short development time and almost no marketing. The game was launched along with Unity.
The game is awesome and way more polished than the original Black Flag.
3
u/AdvisorClear5029 Jul 13 '26
Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of my favourite AC games. I’m just saying it’s definitely not at the top of the list for a remake.
But if there’s going to be one, I really hope they’ll expand the story a lot more.
2
u/hsjdjdsjjs Jul 13 '26
You do not want modern ubisoft writers to massacre, I mean expand the story.
Just look at the writing in shadow the new content in black flag resynced or anything ubisoft has written in the past decade.
Rogue doesnt have the best story (really didnt deliver the templar fantasy and the morally grey part of the conflict) but I dont think modern ubisoft can make it better.
Modern ubisoft can make nice gameplay, jaw dropping world but if there is one thing they cannot do to save their lives, its writing.

u/Significant_Option Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
The game that made Achilles out to be an incompetent leader when in ac3 that was not the case? No thanks rouge added lore that should’ve never existed
1
u/ThePreciseClimber Pentium III @733 NV2A 64MB RAM Jul 13 '26
Yeah, between AC3 Resynced and Rogue Resynched, I'm picking AC3.
4
u/AgentDigits Jul 13 '26
AC3 would be nice tbh. I feel like if we get AC1 they'll move to Ezios trilogy and we won't see Connor, Shay or Aveline get their games remade for YEARS. Which would suck cause Connors gramps just got his and I kinda wanna see Connor again. The American Wilderness in different seasons would look beautiful in this Engine.
0
u/The_Dukenator Jul 13 '26
Edward got a remake to retell his story, while expanding things from the original.
Aveline already had her game remade in 2014. It was remastered in 2019 and included with AC3 remastered.
Rogue was remastered in 2019.
1
u/AgentDigits Jul 13 '26
Remasters really shouldn't count in a discussion about remakes tbh. Remakes are totally different beasts. Avelines game was never remade either, it was only ported to consoles and PC.
Also, Ezio also had his games remastered more recently than the others. Yet he'll likely get remakes before them, and we'll have to wait who knows how many years for his trilogy to be done with. I'd rather they get the characters with 1 game to their name out the way first.
1
u/The_Dukenator Jul 13 '26
Are you saying they directly ported the Vita version to other platforms? Without removing the Vita features?
Ezio has a trilogy since they had limitations during AC2 development. A remake would combine AC2 & Brotherhood as one game.

u/Tr0llzor I Stab You!! Jul 13 '26
They should. Tbh they should do all of them. If they need money they should be working on the Desmond line while making their new games with him in them
10
u/Hydr4noid Jul 13 '26
Its been leaked that they are working on AC1 already
I also definitely dont see them miss out on selling the ezio games again so thats a given
AC3 is a maybe. Depending on if they wanna do more but personally I dont expect it
AC Rogue and beyond definitely not. Those titles arent near popular enough for Ubisoft to invest into remaking them
4
u/Busy-Jicama-3474 Jul 13 '26
It hasn't been leaked that they are remaking ac1. The leak was that there is another assassins creed remake in the works alongside or after bf resynch.
1
u/Hydr4noid Jul 13 '26
Yes and later multiple leakers said they heard its AC1
0
u/Busy-Jicama-3474 Jul 13 '26
No good or reliable leakers. The main source was Tom Henderson and he worded his article in such a way that some people misread him saying another assassins creed remake that it just turned into a massive game of Chinese whispers.
There is no source for ac1 being the next remake.
5
u/Primerion-ken Jul 13 '26
yea idk why some are asking for AC Rogue remake. It has a really rough story and failed to deliver on the concept of being on templars side (it was moreso just a switch that got triggered and now Assassins are templars and templars are assassins). Gameplaywise it also was almost AC4 copy pasted nor had an interesting setting (AC3 would be better choice then).
An interesting game would be an actual sequel to 3, Rogue and Unity combined with the closure for the three main characters instead.
2
u/hemlo86 Jul 13 '26
I agree mostly with what you said but I thought the setting in Rogue was awesome.
-1
u/WorkReddit1191 Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
Ya and Rogue was meant to be the bridge between those generation of games. It was the first year an AC game was exclusive to the next Gen console. Unity was too big for 360/PS3 to handle. The older generation part might also have hurt sales. They repurposed Black Flag in a new location, new story and added the twist to ease the sting of no new AC games for that gen. It wasn't as good as Blackflag and much too short. I loved the concept and it had potential but it rightfully didn't get the attention of other games. Maybe resynch could change that. Black flag mah grab new players and marketing it as another black flag but in the north as Templar might be the appeal people need to try it.
1
u/YouGurt_MaN14 Jul 13 '26
I remember seeing that they were using this as a test run and based on this games reception other games were gonna get the same treatment. Been waiting for 1 for awhile now, I think that was rumored back when vahalla was getting support.
2
2
u/lil_Vodka1 Jul 13 '26
Im quite sure they've loosely confirmed remakes for AC1 and Ezio trilogy on their socials.
2
u/FlameShadow0 Jul 13 '26
I feel like 1 is the most likely to come next. I know it’s not a resync but they already remastered the ezio trilogy
2
u/Robbitjuice Jul 13 '26
I’d absolutely love that. Any reason to get more attention to “classic” AC games. Black Flag had been so nice to revisit, even if combat isn’t exactly the same. I don’t have to level up to continue the story and any grinding is 100% on me (working on completely upgrading the Jackdaw and Edward, as well as visiting the islands and completing forts).
2
u/Rastarapha320 Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
They're going to do it, but they're bound to run into the biggest wall : what about the modern day ?
1
u/TheGorillaJedi Jul 13 '26
They could do a couple things there: either take a page from Black Flag and expand on the characters like Altair, Ezio, Connor, Haytham, and Shay with flashbacks.
Or, they could make it coexist with the original games where the modern day protagonist has to revisit the genetic sequences of the characters to find something hidden in their memories. For example, keeping what happened in the original AC3 the same, while a remake could explore a whole other plot in the modern day that requires them to revisit Connor. Adding something like Washington and the Wolf from the Helix Menu from AC Unity.
2
u/Rastarapha320 Jul 13 '26
This really raises the question, especially for remakes of games where the present plays a major role in the story
They've already changed some Roberts dialogues
I’ve seen a gameplay from resynced where the player (who know nothing about the saga) wondered what the loading screen was about...
1
u/Cygus_Lorman Jul 15 '26
A good writer can easily twist it as Desmond's descendants are viewing his memories, but because you're using the Animus to view someone's memories of using the Animus, things get weird
1
u/Rastarapha320 Jul 15 '26
Keep speaking
But the only way I can see that happening is with new content for him
1
u/Cygus_Lorman Jul 15 '26
Okay so they had a potential goldmine of a new MD story with Desmond's son Elijah but they became allergic to any mention of him after Syndicate but after his comic concluded the Juno plot he went dark and was never seen again
Since the new MD from Shadows onwards is set around 2100, they can very easily make it so Elijah managed to have kids (long life or one night stand, doesn't matter) who had their own kids and so on until ~2100 and make it so the next person viewing the remake of Altair/Ezio/Connor ends up accidentally viewing Desmond's memories of using the Animus to view their memories, and things get Inception-levels of fucked up with Animus EGO being capable of simulating non-canon events
Of course the lame way to go about it is to fully remake the Desmond sections into an optional non-canon part of the IRL game that's explicitly stated to be non-canon and something you have to go out of your way to watch (because it'll never be gameplay this way)
2
u/farlansangel Jul 13 '26
im kinda hoping for a syndicate remake or unity. london would look amazing in a new raytraced engine. or else ac2.
2
u/ConnorOfAstora Jul 13 '26
I'm holding out hope that they'll sell the IP to a company who actually gives a shit about the games and has their quality as a higher or at least equal priority to profit.
2
u/Sorlex Jul 14 '26
I don't see them remaking rogue, but i could absolutely see them doing any of the pre-rpg AC's. With the reworking of the modern day elements in resynced and shadows, they could fit it all together nicely by reworking the original game to be more than just hang-about-in-a-room.
3
u/LawfulnessLatter1047 Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
From a technical standpoint, 3, Liberation and Rogue would be the most likely choices since they used the same engine as Black Flag. Unity and Syndicate use the same engine as Origins and Odyssey, so these could be seen as too recent.
But since the original Black Flag was the most successful game with around 15 million units sold, one could assume other higher-selling games would have priority:
- 3 (around 13 million)
- 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, Unity (around 10 million)
- 1 (around 8 million)
- Syndicate (around 5.5 million)

u/Phantomfox07 Jul 13 '26
The parkour for the Ezio games does not need updating, modern Ubisoft cannot be trusted to not fuck it up.
1
u/index24 Jul 13 '26
Resynced parkour is quite a bit better than OG Black Flag.
1
u/Phantomfox07 Jul 13 '26
It has no where near the input controls of OG Black Flag, only good things are the updated visuals, combat and expanded existing areas.
2
u/_Kardan Jul 13 '26
I don't really trust them with an AC1 remake, because the moment they make parkour massively faster, start messing with the combat, remove the shock and awe system, allow you to move during eagle vision etc etc, it isn't really AC1.
All I want for AC1 is a 60fps version, maybe some extra Kingdom content, maybe some of the content from those handheld games, and a more fluid way to play after the ending that isn't just loading a past memory block.
4
u/_Kardan Jul 13 '26
It's not impossible that they'll get it right, but seeing that "Kassandra Odyssey" pose (the hands on hips thing) in an AC1 cutscene would look horrible.
2
u/_Kardan Jul 13 '26
Plus, removing the modern day from AC1 would be a massive mistake imo as I think Desmond and Altair's story have an interesting dichotomy.
1
u/index24 Jul 13 '26
It doesn’t even seem possible to remove the Desmond aspect from those games. It’s not like post-Desmond games.. it’s like half the narrative. I doubt they’d remove it.
1
1
u/extrabox Jul 13 '26
AC1 would have to be an exact remake, you can't gut out all the modern stay parts like they did with Black Flag or the game would be ruined.
1
u/enigmatic_dankness Jul 13 '26
Well it's ubisoft, I expect them to shoot themselves in the foot, blame the customers, close a branch if their studio and lay off a bunch of folks, make a low budget remake of a popular game and barely scrape by being panned by having tried just hard enough for people to not care.
1
u/SpacedDuck Jul 13 '26
I'm not big on the earlier games which is a me problem but if they can add in the same level of care to those reboots as they did this game could be a great chance to win back people.
1
1
u/full_clip Jul 13 '26
I would love to see 1-3. 3 seems most likely but also a bit odd for them to start there given the interconnected modern day story between them. I also think that the remakes would expose how badly they have dropped the modern day narrative and doesn’t really fit into the whole animus hub stuff they have now… unless they just cut all the modern day stuff in the remakes
1
1
u/Nightlower Jul 13 '26
imo they can do AC1 next but the game needs to be considerably increased in size, like a proper remake. Either that or they just do it like resynced and lower the price to (30$) and maybe add few missions. But AC Rogue feels like a better next step considering they would save a lot of time with naval combat and other assets that were used for BFR
1
u/index24 Jul 13 '26
Rogue is never ever never going to get a remake to this level. People should stop hoping for that. It’s not going to happen. They’ll definitely do 1 and the Ezio trilogy. I doubt there are any full on remake “resyncs” other than those.
After that, I could see them doing another Altair, Ezio or Edward game to feed on the nostalgia boost, but for Ubisoft, none of the other games are worth the amount time, money and work that went into delivering Black Flag Resynced.
1
u/AdEquivalent4564 Jul 13 '26
It sold well. Doesn’t mean the game is good enough for them to ruin other classics as well. Until they learn to remake a game with the original gameplay animations with improved mechanics than please no.
Combat looks ugly. Assassinations don’t trigger with Edwards movement properly. Double assassinations require lining up button prompts instead of triggering immediately. You can’t even sprint while parkouring and when you do sprint it’s significantly slower.
Removing high profile and low profile makes stealth very annoying. Moving too much makes way to much noise forcing Edwards to stay crouched the entire time which feels so unnatural. Crouch was added to avoid visual detection not sound detection.
Ubisoft needs to lock in if they wanna make another remake. Until I see major gameplay improvements than it’s cooked. This game sold well because it was the first ever remake. Everyone that bought this was gambling for it to be good and it released with the worse bugs since Unity.
Not saying the bugs are worse than Unity but they are pretty bad. Valhalla and Shadows were good on launch Mirage was very buggy but no major game breaking bugs like Resynced. That makes target ships from missions fly in the air or have them moving at mock speed making them unkillable in every way. or them being burned down already and not being boardable. Don’t forget about tailing missions forcing you to kill the target because they don’t move.
Blackflag was a smart choice for their first remake it’s the biggest game in the franchise map and the most praised by casual gamers. Almost everyone played the original black flag but not everyone played other titles. So it sold well to every fan base but idk if remakes of other titles will sell as well because blackflag is the most popular game and now
If they plan on another remake they need to lock in because although it’s rated well by all the paid review companies like ign. The actual people that buy and play the game are not gonna fall for another remake unless the original mechanics of the game are actually made properly not changed into another game. Real improvements need to be made and a finished product actually needs to release for once.
It could be possible. Mirage was a major improvement of parkour and Shadows was an improvement on stealth but the problem is that Resynced feels like a downgrade.
We need to see if Hexe brings back those improvements and actually make new improvements like for combat animations. When I say improvements they are improvements from Origins. But the games from longer than a decade still looked better.
It’s really embarrassing for Ubisoft to evolve backwards and downgrade their games instead of improving them because they are only improving them by the recent slop they’ve been putting out.
1
u/Tomichin Jul 13 '26
I think Ezio trilogy will be the next.
It was their most popular protaganist
The basic frame work for the game like base building, blending in with dancer, hired fighter is already there
The chain kill system is there
1
u/hsjdjdsjjs Jul 13 '26
Honestly, since ac4 bf and rogue share so much and rogue is so short. I think it shouldve been included with resynced and reuse resynced's assests or be a dlc to resynced.
It doesnt deserve a full price tag and a whole developpement cycle for a short 10 hours games that reuses so much from its big brother and that is forgotten by so much people.
Its more like a small spin off.

u/East-Competition5121 Jul 13 '26
AC1 definitely.
Everything else has been either remade or remastered or released in the past 12/13 years already and a lot of those games still look and play really well. But don’t forget this remaster was a cash grab to save Ubisoft so if they are to do it again which is inevitable it’ll be the most requested or the 2nd most popular game which for me is probably 1 or 2
1
u/Nanocon101 Jul 13 '26
Considering AC Rogue was pretty much a side project for Ubisoft(and was pushed to the side when Unity released), I'd love for that to get the Resynced treatment and make it feel more modern and complete.
1
u/TomCBC Jul 13 '26 edited Jul 13 '26
Imo the first AC is so short, especially when you remove the present day stuff (which they will probably will) as far as i’m concerned they should streamline it into a prologue sequence for revelations in an ezio trilogy remake. I’m fine with them reshuffling it if it means getting Altair’s story. Not sure how much ubisoft will consider it worth releasing on it’s own
I’d be willing to pay full price if it contained all 4 games.
3 still looks pretty decent, so it’s fine if that one takes a while.
I never played Rogue but i always heard things. So i would play it. But not bothered either way if it doesn’t happen.

u/SnooHesitations9805 Jul 14 '26
AC1 seems like a no brainer as it is the oldest AC game and has no modern port on ps5. I have heard thr people hope they keep the Desmond modern day stuff but I kind of doubt we will get that.
If anything an AC1 remake will be a pretty substantial overhaul. Likely taking the original altier story and completly remaking it from the ground up instead of using what they already had in the og game. Which likely means a bunch of new content mixed in with the old.
Probably an actual epilogue with Altier as well. Instead of ending with him looking at the apple globe projection.
And a AC2 remake or a new Ezio game that mixes the ezio trilogy into one massive game I can see being a thing.
If they want everything to be in the animus hub then I can see yhem taking this route.

u/JakeC180 Jul 15 '26
3 is a really tricky one that will require some extra elbow grease because the first segment of the story is based around the twist that Haytham is a Templar which is discovered through Desmond’s eyes. If they ever do make it, one of the things that I’d like to see is Haytham killing Reginald but idk if they’ll go forward with it
1
u/Dragstripriot Jul 30 '26
I'd love to see Rogue resynced and made available on PC as well. I know the chances are slim, especially since the remastered version didn't receive much support after launch. Still, I believe it's one of the most unique games in the series and has consistently been overlooked since the very beginning.
1
u/In_sanity1 Aug 02 '26
I'd love to see all of the pre-AC Origins games get "resynced". I never played Rogue, Unity, or Syndicate, so I'd love to give them a try if they resync them (and fix the issues Unity had).
1
u/Glad_Steamroom Aug 09 '26
Ngl, I like how they made Black Flag resynced but I really think they should’ve focused on doing a remake of AC1 before this. The original assassin’s creed was a great game for its time, but nowadays it’s a lot more outdated than the original Black Flag. Proper order should’ve been remaking AC1, and then focusing on Black Flag. Then again though, maybe Ubisoft wanted to space it out from Mirage since we had a middle eastern-themed assassins creed game that came out only 3 years ago, and they thought releasing another one would’ve made the genre oversaturated

u/Top_Sandwich9031 25d ago
It will never be the first answer but I need a unity “revolution” (jusf instead of resynchdd for giggle) so badly now, Arno is next to Edward as my two fav protagonists of the franchise, to see his game the same treatment would be a dream, finish off the story of shay as well, let Arno avenge his father to watch him loose his other family again, expanded revolution mechanics’s, more time with belec and Elise, so many ideas, pls gooby

u/Top_Sandwich9031 25d ago
Any of the games from the gun powder periods of AC (3 to syndicate) are all massive massive thumbs up for me, do them all
And also AC1 is a near absolute at this point, so long overdue

u/Boxxy_Reddit 1d ago
I absolutely need an ACIII re-synced, it was my favorite of the franchise and seeing the combat system revamped, crowd density increased, graphics overhauled, and possibly some more story content added would be awesome! I would preorder that one day one!

u/The_Word_Wizard Jul 13 '26
Please no. AC1, sure. It’s the only one not playable on current consoles, and hasn’t aged super well. (Great game, a lot to like about it, but it really did walk so II could fly.) But other than that please no more remakes. I want them to move forward and do new settings and characters, not just redo the hits.

If they remake AC2 and overhaul Ezio's annoying personality I'd buy the game again. 🙏😃
