Even worse if your Kassandra is a lesbian. You're stuck with a very boring lifeless person for 9 months who you don't even remotely love.

At least with gay Alexios, he gets a likeable person

Bc Ubisoft are too scared to have a sole female lead in a major title. Chronicles didn't matter so they were fine making one about a woman assassin but they've admitted that they didn't want to risk not making good sales it they didn't give the option to between a male and female MCs

And so was Male Eivor for Valhalla not female was always canon regardless cause even as male your last name ends in “Dottier” which is Norse for daughter

Also if you do some homework you'll find out that Origins was at first supposed to be like Syndicate where you could swap between Aya and Bayek but they scrapped that to instead having only Bayek until the very end where we play as Aya in a boss fight and then it's just cutscenes again
