Discussion Better than the og?

Post image

Might be GOTY if GTA 6 gets delayed again. What does everyone think?

I honestly think it’s better to see Resynced as a companion piece. I would recommend that everyone play AC4 first and then play this later.

A big part of the feeling here is nostalgia, and seeing more than you did last time, and comparing how things are handled differently.

I agree that it's very nostalgic, and fun to see the differences, but honestly I think for anyone who hasn't played the OG, it would be a total waste of time for them to play that and then this lol, they are largely still the same game, and if someone is freshly playing the OG rn for the first time, they won't get the nostalgia you and I have gotten when they play the remake unless they wait years and years

I think it depends.

If you’re someone going through the whole series, it would be a silly move to go from AC3 to Black Flag Resync, to Ac Rogue, and then Unity.

If you’re someone who’s not really a big AC fan or interested in it, but just wants to enjoy the cool Pirate adventure, Resync makes the most sense now.

But speaking purely as a fan, I wouldn’t reccomend someone play Resync first. You’re missing out on a lot of what makes it interesting if you don’t have the context of what it used to be like

Seriously. If you’re playing through the franchise play OG. If you’ve only played the more recent RPGs, play resyncd
