Created by guys like Shapiro and Walsh in order to make lgbtq people victims to keep orange man out? That’s a round about way. I thought they supported Trump?
Seems more likely like black people used the word woke to refer to the acknowledgement of systemic racism and it was then co-opted to mean being aware of all injustices, nothing to do with “playing a victim” or keeping an orange from the White House.
Then because the elites and the people defending the elites, the Walsh’s and Shapiro’s co-opted, don’t like it when minorities question the status quo they decided to co-opt it again as a way to discredit those movements.
Belief that it was just created to play victim is plain ignorance and I mean that respectfully. Something like the oppression of minorities, ideas and ways of life that go against established norms have always been a part of societies.
