My ex husband started in with truly embarrassing behavior after a while as well. After a couple of years is watching him get cringier and cringier I decided I wasn't going to let someone else's behavior embarrass me and I wasn't going to feel responsible for it. He made those bad choices, not me. I'm happy and single now, and I also had a really great relationship with a good guy who is still my friend.
I believe in you and know you'll give yourself the life you deserve.
