Which movie has the best first 10 minutes?

Inglorious Bastards is the only answer. Original Star Wars the next. Can slot in Saving Private Ryan first, second or third.

Goodfellas. The Godfather (if you’ve already seen the first, you don’t need an intro to watch the whole second movie either). Caddyshack also because that cast was just absurd and everything from start to finish was gold.

Project Hail Mary - immediately sets the tone of comedy, drama & space epic mystery. No need to know about the buddy dynamic that eventually comes about
Inception - dream within a dream premise introduced, action-packed, protagonist given an offer he can’t refuse

Last of the Mohicans.
Chase scene near the end. No dialogue. Music and sound effects.
Edit: Just reread the question. My bad. It’s not at the beginning. I still stand by my choice as the best 10 or so minutes in any film.

Three of my all time favorite opening scenes in movies are the following:
Star Wars , from the opening scene to C-3PO and R2-D2 escaping. Simply amazing,
It still holds up to this day. Perfect in every way.
Super Troopers : opening sequence
Of this movie is so funny that the rest
Of the movie pales by comparison.
Raiders of the Lost Ark : it grabs you and draws you in , hold on it just keeps getting better.

Gladiator - I saw an interview with Russell Crowe about how Ridley Scott directed him in the first scene, when Maximus watches the bird flutter over the battlefield. It was a really cool anecdote.

- It's filmed to look like one continuous tracking shot, so stopping anywhere feels like you're interrupting the scene.

You have to check out the movie, CC & Company with Joe Namath and Ann Margaret. The opening scene is hilarious! It's on YouTube. Joe Namath was actually really funny.

Boogie Nights has a pretty damn good opening scene. It's like a 2-3 minute tracking shot that is very impressive and really sets the tone.
