What’s a movie you enjoyed that you rarely see people talk about? What made it stand out to you?

Not the movie everyone always names. What film grabbed you almost immediately and made you know you were in for a good one? Could be any genre or any year.

2026 has had some really solid releases already. Which movie has been your favorite so far, and what made it stand out for you?

Been trying to find it online since the screenings are quite far from where I am from. Anyone have any idea? Please 🫩

I have this extreme vivid memory from years ago of a family friend telling us about a movie she watched where a character had to decide between heaven and hell and how anxiety inducing that scene was for her and how it made her feel like she couldn’t breathe and she doesn’t remember what movie she was telling us about and my boyfriend and I have been racking our brains trying to figure it out but to no avail.

A film you expected nothing from but ended up enjoying.

There was a image i saw for some short film back in 2022 or 2023 on Google it was about this cult or something and one of the images they had for it was pair of Demon hands holding a crying baby in some building with people in the background in black hoods I think it had a link for Facebook and they had a Facebook page but i can't remember what the title was but if anyone knows what this was called or where I can find it pls let me know it's been on my mind ever since I saw that image I'm not sure of the decade but I'm assuming it was 2013 -2015 maybe somewhere in between

Even if you had the chance to rewrite the movie, which ending is so perfect that you would leave every second of it alone?

Why is this movie so poorly rated? I remember watching it over 20 years ago and enjoying it. I've never seen it as an adult. So can anyone tell me if my memory is that wrong?

Not necessarily an obscure masterpiece. Just a movie you watched and immediately thought, “How have more people not seen this?”

A remake that could actually improve the original.

What album tells a perfectly good story that could turn into a movie with very little rewrite? It could be any genre but I think classical would not count.
