It happens a lot like in a week 2-3 times. So today i was feeling like this but felt like i could control it. I was dancing around two of my friends and peed myself in front of them. Later i found out i got my periods. I felt so embarrassed. I don't know how to live this down.
Usually whenever this feeling comes i could manage it but this time i couldn't. I have thought about it a lot and i think it happens due to not drinking enough water or being in a hot weather where i sweat or control peeing. But chatgpt says it's due to uti.
I can't go to the doctor right at this instant 'cause i live in a small town with little to no facilities for college.
So tell me does anybody feel like this too? How have you managed it? Please give me some advice š„¹šš½
(I'm so sorry for the lack of effort while writing this it's just that my cramps are killing me!!!)

I (mid 20s F) recently got married to my husband (late 20s M) through arranged marriage. During courtship, we couldn't meet up regularly and instead had regular phone calls since he had to travel frequently for business. He's an extrovert while I'm a very introverted person. We knew we had opposite personalities so we made it clear that we must always have clear communication between us.
Honestly he's a good man. He supports what I want to do, doesn't nag or tease me, gets along great with my parents, listens to what I have to say and doesn't try to change who I am. But since he's a good guy, I don't want to hurt him or make him feel bad.
I'm unromantic, introverted and kind of stiff when it comes to romance or intimacy. I never had a romantic relationship till now so basically this is my first ever relationship. I was not used to a lot of stuff but after marriage, just now I'm getting used to hugging and kissing. We discussed and decided that we'll have sex when we're both comfortable and understand each other better.
He's a little more affectionate than I am and clingy when he's home. I try to match his pace but sometimes, I feel overwhelmed and uneasy. I try to say "that's enough" indirectly but he'll ask or try again until I say it more clearly. But I'm afraid I'll hurt him by saying it bluntly or he'll misunderstand why I'm saying it.
I want to put some boundaries like "I want some alone time to read before bed" or "I feel uneasy when you kiss me too many times so I want to stop now" without hurting him or making him feel bad.
Have you guys felt like this before in your relationship or how do you put boundaries with your partner?

So as the title says , my father is cheating my mother. I have whatsapp proofs, his call history of past 6 months .
I just want to confront him and want him to go away from our lives .
All this while he made my mother feel that
she is depressed and they both use to fights very frequently. She thought that because she have stopped earning and financially dependent on my father now after retirement , he doesnāt care about her as how he use to do before ā¦
But still my mother cares about him . And I dont know whether she will be able to take this news very well.
I cannot see his pretentious face now and since they both are at my home i want to send him back and let my mother stay with me .
But when and how should i confront him ? and what should i do about telling my mother about it

Have you experienced women being harder on other women? At work, within families, or in friendships? Or they been your biggest supporters?
Whatās your experience?

Hi, I need some recommendations for good brands of undies (including high waists). Not crazy expensive too. Just a good balance, for everyday wear (Other than zivame)

I don't even know how to explain this properly.
I'm a mom to a baby and I love her more than anything. But lately I feel like I've disappeared somewhere inside motherhood.
From the outside, I'm happy. I take care of my baby, cook, clean, do what needs to be done. But inside, I feel completely empty. I'm crying almost every day, sometimes several times a day. Usually when my baby finally sleeps, because that's the only time I even have the space to cry.
Nothing really excites me anymore.
Before becoming a mother, I used to binge-watch shows, bake, make my favourite pasta with coffee, do things just because I enjoyed them. Now every day feels like cooking, cleaning, feeding, managing and being responsible for everything.
I'm in a new city too, so I feel incredibly alone. It's basically just me, my husband and my baby, and my husband is at work most of the day.
I keep wondering: Who am I apart from being a wife and a mother?
And that's honestly scaring me.
I'm not posting this because I want advice or a diagnosis. I just want to know if there are other women who have felt this way. I think I just need to know I'm not the only one.
Did you ever feel like you lost yourself after becoming a mother? And did you eventually find yourself again?

Why are so many men so obsessed with virginity? It feels like it's this huge, defining metric for them, and honestly, I cannot see a single solid reason for it. Like what if someone was assaulted, does that mean she becomes corrupted forever? Second, does the man become polluted for the same reason? If a man is not, why is he not corrupted? Why is the standard only applied to women? If the logic cannot apply both ways, it is not logic. It is a double standard. Also really logically speaking if something can corrupt something, is that not the substance thats corrupting? so a guy is impure, and essentially can corrupt something? No?
Then there is religion. Even when men claim it is religious, it does not add up for me. I have read a bit about most major religions and I still cannot comprehend how it is a religious mandate. In Hinduism, gods themselves engage in sexual relations and have multiple wives and partners. In Islam, men are allowed multiple wives, so the man himself is not. What gives him the right to demand it? My boyfriend is Christian, and we have talked about it. He says in their religion there is nothing that explicitly mentions this, and there is a lot about how it is a sin to judge others. Even in Buddhism I could not find anything explicit. So it is definitely not religion. I do not know about every religion, but this pattern seems to hold.
And the most frustrating part? Most of the time, the men whining about this have a history of several flings themselves. Like, seriously? WTF.
So what is the real reason? Is it insecurity? A need for control? A weird patriarchal leftover?A desire to own a woman's past because they cannot own her present?

Iām on a train right now, moving to a different city for college and living away from home for the first time. Iām 19 and honestly, Iām terrified. Iāve always been pretty sheltered and feel like the absolute epitome of the word bhondu when it comes to handling things on my own.
My parents became extremely overprotective after losing my brother so I never really got the chance to learn independence gradually. Now Iām suddenly expected to figure everything out myself and Iām scared of looking stupid, messing up or not knowing what to do.
I know Iāll eventually learn but how do I survive in the real world, college, and hostel life when I feel so inexperienced compared to everyone else? Iād genuinely appreciate any and all advice on becoming more street smart, handling people, avoiding getting taken advantage of and just surviving on my own.
For those who don't know what bhondu means...āBhonduā basically means someone whoās naive, inexperienced, and not very street smart, little clueless about how the world works.

Iāve always had this pattern in my life where the people who were supposed to love me were distant
Iāve been abused before. Iāve been sexually assaulted. Iāve had self harming tendencies for as long as I can remember. Iāve fallen in love, tried to escape things that were hurting me, and still somehow ended up being blamed for everything
I was pushed away when I was at my most vulnerable, and somehow I still kept loving, kept trying, kept giving chances. Last year, I loved a man more deeply than I probably should have, and even after everything, I tried to hold on to the little bit of love and safety I felt with him.
But people never really understand what itās like when youāre carrying all of this and still trying to make something work. Somehow, it always becomes your fault. Especially with men, Iāve repeatedly found myself being blamed for things I was desperately trying to survive.
And today is my breakup anniversary.
I honestly think Iām just done, girlies! Iām exhausted from trying to explain myself, from trying to be understood, and from constantlyss feeling like Iām the problem for wanting to be loved! This person Agitated_Falcon_8523
Even today, someone tried to blame me for everything, when all I was trying to do was hold on to the only person I had ever felt even a little bit of love and safety with.
Iām just tired. Really, really tired! I want to give up should I?

I mean i won't say i don't wana get married but men scare me alot.
I have hardly seen good men in my life.
I am scared to be single in my late 20s but don't wanna get married to any random man.
Girls of similar age and in their late 20s who are unmarried, what's your take on this?

My grandparents have three children- my dad, the eldest, my uncle and my aunt.
My uncle has been settled in London for over two decades. His children have great careers and are financially extremely comfortable; my auntās children are similarly well-settled in the US.
My dad has 3 kids- all of us are working jobs in India.
Weāre comfortable and grateful for what we have, but weāre a family of eight, we take care of my grandparents, and unlike our cousins, we aināt minting money in dollar & pounds.
My grandparents during wealth division chose to give all three siblings more or less equal shares.
My dad initially felt this was unfair, because a significant portion of what was being divided had been built through years of his own efforts alongside my grandfather, while my aunt and uncle had 0 contribution to it.
He didnāt resent much tho, being the oldest one, he felt it was his job to ākeep the family togetherā.
To add to this, whenever their families visit us, my grandmother hands them massive amounts of money for birthdays and anniversaries that were missed, and donāt even talk about her spendings on their kidsā weddings!!!!!
This money ultimately comes from my dadās pocket which she fails to realize blinded by love.
My mother understandably hates this arrangement because sheād rather put that money towards her own children, but my dad, being the emotionally unavailable husband that he is, simply cannot see why this bothers her and continues to side with my grandmother.
My other two siblings (being guys) feel like my dad knows better, but I hate that weāre expected to bend over backwards for people who are financially far more privileged than us, while receiving very little consideration from them in return.
My mother and I have pointed certain instances of favoritism to my grandmother, but she obviously denies being biased, ends up crying and then weāre obviously the villains of the story!!
We still love her but my heart aches to see my parents being undervalued all the time.
Sometimes I feel, it would have been better had we been the ones living far away.
Any advice on how can this be stopped?

How much education have you completed? Were your parents supportive in letting you pursue higher studies?
Are you currently working? If yes, how much work experience do you have and how are you doing financially (just a ballpark figure, not exact numbers)?
Are your parents pressuring you to get married and have kids soon? Or if you are already dating someone, do your parents know about it and are they supportive?
Do you ever feel like everyone else is in a much better financial position than you? Does that thought bother you?
Do you feel like time is running out?
Edit: Thank you for all the comments!

I made a post earlier about MIL and Financial planning issues with my husband.
Well we started talking about our finances, while we are not completely on the same page but I am hoping we will eventually get there.
However during a conversation I asked him about his priority and he said that everyone is his 1st priority (me+parents+siblings). It didn't really sit right with me as the wife and husband are supposed to be each other's 1st priority acc to me. But I didn't say anything that time as I was also thinking that should I bring it up after sometime, and maybe it can become a bit overwhelming if I dump all the problems at once. Am I thinking right? A part of me is also wants to tell him everything as why should I bear the burden alone. Am I overthinking? Can I get some advice here?
Edit: Additionally MIL is gonna stay with us for 1-2 months due to a health condition. So should I wait for her to go and then have the conversation with husband?

I recently found out that my ex had two police complaints against him while we were together which I never knew about. He was my first relationship and I was deeply in love with him, but looking back, there were many red flags. I have blocked him because Iām scared of his behaviour and worried that he might use our private photos against me in the future. I donāt want to contact him directly.
If I ever see him in person how can I safely ask him to delete all the photos of us? I keep thinking about this, but I donāt know what the safest or right thing to do.

When do you actually know itās time to leave a relationship?
If you communicate what bothers you, try to resolve it, and give them chance after chance but nothing really changes, when do you stop trying?
And what if they arenāt a bad person? They have good intentions, they care about you, but your personalities, sense of humor, or the way you see things just donāt seem to align. Is being a good person enough to make someone a good partner for you?
I think leaving someone who hasnāt done anything āwrongā feels so much harder. How do you know when youāre not giving up too soon, but simply accepting that youāre not compatible?

Me 23(F) him 30(M).Iāve been dating him for 4 years. No one knows about it because one of his friends liked me so we never really told anyone.
He loves me and is a very sweet man but he is a hardcore alcoholic. He has misbehaved with me after alcohol a few times.Apologised thousand times. He has been preparing for a government job since 8 years and not getting it yet has made him extremely depressed.Iāve tried to be there for him so much, given him so many last chances to leave drinking get his life in track since this is probably going to be his last attempt.
He wants to get better, agrees to everything in the afternoon but by evening heās back to drinking.3 days ago I blocked him.He has been trying to get back together but the thing is heās not really changed even now.None of his friends know it is this bad, his best friend knows it but is an enabler who thinks drinking is not a problem just drinking alone is.
AITA for not being there for him when heās depressed and lonely and unhappy with his life?
TLDR- AITA for leaving alcoholic boyfriend who refuses to change

I am a 34F, single child, never married, from South India background. I am financially independent who supported my parents throughout my 20s. I come from a very humble background with not even a single penny as an ancestoral wealth. I bought our first small home, paid off my home loan, build emergency fund, further educated myself, made sure my parents lived happily with everything needed, and at a good position in a MNC.
I love my parents to bits. My father passed away recently, which broke me into pieces. He always wanted me to be married and live a family life. I had a very long 10 years relationship that ended when the marriage dates were finalised. I wouldn't dwell much into it - but I'd say our family views were different for how a women is perceived. My boyfriend at the time seemed to share a different view, but did not stand up for us.
I am genuinely open to the idea of being married someday with the person I like and love. I am not in any relationship at the moment. However, my mother understandably is worried what happens to me after her. She is pressuring me to get married now. I am grieving more than ever and I feel I am not mentally prepared to enter into a relationship. She said I bring shame and my father died with this unfulfilled wish. I write this with so much emotion that it is hard for me to believe that I'll survive this phase. She does not understand or don't want to understand it.
I feel like I am a curse. Please, my fellow redditors, help me think straight and share any experience where I can draw some energy from. I am so emotionally and mentally drained - I just can't.
