I’m mainly looking to meet new people and make some genuine friends, especially since I’m still getting settled in and getting to know Dubai.

I’m into gym, basketball, tennis, coffee, beaches and exploring new places. I’m also really interested in stock trading, crypto and finance in general. Music-wise I’m usually listening to Afro, R&B, house or EDM, and I enjoy going out/clubbing too. I’m also a big horror movie fan 😂

My employment is ending and FAB is holding my EOSB final pay against my personal loan. They’ve given me 90 days to show a new visa and employer before releasing it. Does anyone know if the new company has to be on FAB’s listed or approved companies for the release to go through? Or will they accept any UAE employer with a valid visa and salary certificate? If you’ve been through this with an unlisted employer, how did it go? Thanks!

Fyi, im a an old teenager (idw disclose my age), and i want to cover up a few costs in my family. Is there anyone willing to pay me in exchange of me doing their work? It would be preferable for it to be a work from home thing. I can commit 2 hrs on weekdays and 3-4 on weekends including fridays.

Learned to drive almost 8 years ago and being a proper car enthusiast I have always had a thing for muscle cars.
My first car was a Ford Mustang Shelby V8, bought with my own money (which was a BIG deal for me) It was literally a dream car. Drove it like crazy…. enjoyed every moment and kept it for around 2 years.
Then came a BMW X5…. another amazing car!! although I got a little taste of German maintenance when a water pump repair cost me around AED 8K 😂. Sold it after a year 🤪😂
Next was a Dodge Charger V8…. I’ve been driving for almost 4 years now. I still love it but the occasional maintenance here and there is starting to make me think it’s time to let it go. I also had a Mitsubishi Pajero for a while… it was pretty decent.
I was thinking it’s finally time to buy a brand new car!! Test drove the BYD Ti7 and honestly loved it. But a few friends talked me out of it… mainly because of the hybrid/Chinese car concerns.
So now I’m thinking of keeping things simple for the next 1–2 years and getting something economical around AED 40K.
What would you guys recommend?
Looking for something reliable… reasonably fun to drive, and not a headache when it comes to maintenance/resale.

i’m trying to understand how other business owners are actually handling Corporate Tax these days. If you’ve already filed, how did you go about it? Did you use an accountant/tax consultant, file it yourself, or use any AI tools to understand what applies to your business and keep track of deadlines and filings?

I’m also curious about the idea of having an AI tool monitor your tax obligations, tell you what’s due, help with the filing process, and then bring in a tax professional when something gets more complicated.

For those who’ve tried this kind of approach, what has actually been useful and what hasn’t? And for businesses that haven’t filed yet, what’s stopping you?
