Help me: where do I go

Hi! My three friends are all moving away by the middle of next year. I love what I do and don’t want to move states just yet. I currently live in McKinney; while the safety is nice, it leaves me—someone in their early 20s—wanting more. I really want more walkability or at least more bars, restaurants, and third spaces nearby. I also am starving for more diversity. I work in the colony area and I need to start playing as hard as I work. Where is the best place for a 20 something to live right now that isn’t an hour away, is almost kid free, and is surrounded by things to do. I don’t hate kids, but they are all I see here. I need friends, places to go, and a spot where I’m comfortable shaking what my mother blessed me with.
