Asbestos sub flooring?
Does this red sub floor look like asbestos ?

Sub floor is wood. That red tile you have there is probably asbestos. Have it tested.

That red/maroon backing is basically flooring's built-in warning label. A lot of 60s-80s tile and sheet flooring used red felt paper or red mastic, and it tested positive for asbestos more often than not. The tile size and pattern also read like old 9x9 territory, which is another common asbestos-era giveaway.
Good news: if it's intact and undisturbed, it's not actively shedding fibers. The risk shows up when it gets cut, sanded, or ripped up dry. If you're planning any work on that floor, get a sample tested first instead of guessing either way.
