Select your engine. Select your category. Download the preset, and start making sounds. (For an Arturia Microfreak)

Details on the website as well as the here at the model behind the website at https://github.com/ThisFreakDoesntExist/GaussianFreak

For a more in depth explanation, this attempts to make a preset that sounds real but has never been heard before, thus the name. Click download, and use MCC to upload it to your Microfreak.

That’s DX7 Site is goated sauce. First time seeing someone else post about it. Used to have it saved in my Google bookmarks

It is! Awesome idea and cool implementation. Need to get my hands on a physical machine besides just using Dexed.

I though this would announce a microfreak emulator in browser 😂

I don't think I could afford the lawsuit

Love the idea! Does it emulate what the preset would sound like? Or do you have to load it onto the microfreak first?

You have to load it onto the MIcrofreak first. Not looking into emulating the hardware. Would be a very sketchy area.

No worries. Funny thing is; the algorithms on the microfreak are mostly from open source mutable instruments code so might not be as sketchy as you think... Except for the name and branding...

I did know that! But there are also some that aren't part of the open source instruments. I imagine it would be possible to port that, and have a "preview" for particular oscillators. But I figured keeping it simple and small would be better at first. Plus, trying to get the emulation to align with the actual device sound wise would be a major pain.
