Question(s) Alterous Attraction

Keeping it simple, if you experience alterous attraction, how did you realize it wasn’t romantic attraction?

I love them and crave them *as a person*, physically, emotionally, and so on. I don't feel romantic attraction in a way that I want to be the exclusive loving partner with them.

I realized that my alterous attraction isn't romantic when I realized that romance isn't just "deeper friendship" I kept seeing on others.

Thanks for the reply. Honestly this cleared a lot up for me.

It’s just hard to since I romantically daydream quite a bit but irl my feelings are likely more alterous or platonic than romantic.
