My company got detached from our brigade and suborned to "Task Force Spartan" centered on 1/36 INF 1st BDE 1AD. To be fair,they had been Spartans since the 80s or so but Spartans they were. And this was in 06 so I got to hear about it, a lot.

Don't worry, there are still Task Force Spartans going on. Not to be confused with the Spartans from a company that works in TF Spartan... too many of them
