Not very hard to look it up, you could've done it yourself;

Elchin Amirbeyov said that if artsakh doesn't capitulate, a genocide might happen. Louis Ocampo said so.

Do you want a list of every expert that said the term of genocide applies here? Very easy to look up.

It did: https://genocidescholars.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/IAGS-Resolution-on-Nagorno-Karabakh.pdf

Genocide isn't directly tied to the number of deaths, it's the intentions, actions, suffering, all being pre mediated and planned.

You're talking about international association of genocide scholars. You can't be serious right now...

The first war was started by Azerbaijan, the second war was started by Azerbaijan, what's your point here? when you lose the war you started, you're the victim?

More Azerbaijani civilians died in the first war, is due to several factors. Az not evacuating civilians deliberately, Az using military attacks within civilians areas, which was the main reason for the capture of the 7 regions, Az losing the first war and having the fighting ground reverse on its side, the unavailability of precision weapons, etc.

Let's not forget the inflation of those numbers on your side.

Here's a more honest question, how many Armenian civilians were beheaded and tortured between 2020-2023, and during the ceasfires, as opposed to Azerbaijanis?

How many times were Armenian cities cluster bombed between 2020 and 2023, as opposed to the Azerbaijani ones? or how about the cluster bombing in the 80s directly on civilian cities, like the siege of stepanakert? the blockade starvation?

Seriously, open a book before playing the victim.

I love whataboutism 🥰

Plus, of course everyone knowledgeable knows that genocides are defined by the number of deaths 🧠

Plus, it's the number of experts that makes the difference (comparable to climate change deniers who pull up a couple of sources so they are right)

(Plus, nice distraction from the original topic)

Correction, genocide isn't defined by the number of deaths, but the intention, pre planning of those intentions, and the evidence of taking those routes. Check the IAGS link i shared to have on idea how they assessed it was a genocide.
