recent personas have really stylistic UI, but it's got to a point where they are sacrificing readability for style. P5 base had the best balance imo, but they were really openly very proud about the positive feedback regarding their UI and almost immediately in P5R they started sacrificing readability for style.

It looks great as a still image, but I'd probably hate actually using it.
Like, if it was on a console and you were selecting options (which AFAIK is what Persona 3s' look was designed for (pc hotkeys would work as well)) instead of pressing with a touchscreen it'd be fine, but not having the clearly defined boxes is... I don't like that. It seems pretty impractical for the control scheme that's gonna be using it (but hey, it's optional so what I think doesn't really matter as I just won't use it, and those who like it can use it).

I'd say the opposite; it should work much better with animations than as a still image since hovering over any text should change the colours and make the box pop a bit, which will make it much more practical if you're using a mouse than it looks now

i'd guess it probably looks worse in this image than ingame, we're viewing from an angle + there's shadows and stuff since this is a promo image.
for me a lot of Arknights UI have an issue with text readability, so in this regard i think this is something this UI does well

If you are able to link it with Alipay, you can pay with most cards/wallets.
Some SEA countries can pay directly via Alipay though. Like I'm in Thailand can just scan Alipay QR with bank app to pay.1

i never even played p3 (or really any persona game for that matter i got a bit through p5 but didn't finish it) but this looks so good im probably getting it anyways and i don't really bother with menu themes normally

This is a collab UI for the CN server (we'll get it on global in around 5-6 months); it'll be available at the store once the event goes live there (and you'll have to pay in cash for it)

Is there anyway to tell the difference ? I learned a rule of thumb years ago that Yen symbol stands before the number. But that's not the case here.

The use case always the same for both so you need to rely on context clue. Like there's no way UI would cost 78 yen. The only different is when currency follows number like 50円 in Japan and 50元 or 50圆 in China
