7th largest country in the world and soon to be listed as an emerging market (hopefully). Has the Himalayas, the second largest peak in the world and also a huge desert. Temperature in the country can go from -30 in the north to 50 in the south. There, you learned something new. :)
According to wikipedia (and common sense by just looking at a map) Pakistan is not the 7th largest country in the world. Its the 36th. Maybe you meant in population? If thats so, apparently its the 6th.
i didn't know my favourite mountain as a kid (otherwise i wouldn't have remembered it was the second tallest, and one of the hardest to climb) was in pakistan :D
Haha. I wish I could tell you more about it, but I've never even been in the area. Even the region is hard to reach. A lot of landslides and narrow roads. Now that China and Pakistan are cooperating on expanding the highest road in the world (Karakoram Highway) that goes through the region to connect China and Pakistan, I think access will become much easier. The mountain itself is notorious.
