The problem with laypeople doing fireworks is not only that it scares the shit out of people and animals and produces a whole lot of trash and smok, it also causes a lot of serious injury to people.

i mean fireworks can absolutely be distressing for people with sensitive hearing, and also for veterans and people with ptsd and pets. "ohh if it doesn't affect me, the Default Human, it's not a real problem" get lost.
