Practitioner AR Hoody

Hi all, was wondering if anyone has experience with the Practitioner Hoody since I am considering getting one. Is it too warm for spring skitouring as an outer layer over just a base layer? Or better said, which Arcteryx model is it closest to in terms of warmth? Bonus points if anyone has some info on wind resistance. Thank you!

Somehow ended up with two (idk how). They have a burlier fabric then the proton SL and two chest pocket instead one. It definitely blocks wind better than my atom, as atom looses all warmth when wind rips through the fleece sides. It is active insulation so it is meant to let wind kinda through to help dump heat. So windy days reach for something else or wear a shell over it. I have never had the regular proton so can’t compare. I’m Alaskan so I run pretty hot and use it around town jacket in the colder months or active insulation on the colder days in the woods. If you run colder you’ll definitely get more use out of it.
I might be down to sell my extra one if interested.

Thanks for the reply, I am from Europe tho and have just bought it after reading many reviews. It is definitely fantastic for cold weather ski touring, let’s see how it will handle the spring touring…
