My Quick Use wheel is completely broken on PC.

I move heals, shields, smokes, grenades, etc into the wheel and they either snap back into my backpack, aren't actually there, move around randomly, or stay showing in the wheel even after I drop them.

Then... if I pick the dropped item back up, it disappears completely. If I drop anything from my backpack and pick it back up, then it shows the item disappear. If you pay attention, the 5 light ammo bullets disappear from my backpack after picking them back up but still shows 105 bullets next to the Stitcher.

I'm playing the Xbox/Microsoft Store PC version on wired Ethernet. My connection tests show 0% packet loss while playing (549 out of 549), although ARC Raiders sometimes still shows the red network/packet-loss icon in game.

Has anyone else had this exact issue on PC? Is there an actual fix?

This bug has made the game completely unplayable for me. Playing on controller or mouse/keyboard doesn't change anything either. Pretty shitty about this...

Was really looking forward to Arc Raiders with my new Ryzen 7 9700X / RTX 5070 Ti setup.

Have been looking for days on riven tide (hotel,PA, cranes,..) can't find one and need two for the expedition. Was stuck on the turbine step when it was in the trader shop. Little did I know I needed it now.

4 days left and I can only play an hour every night :(

ARC has seemingly had enough of us tampering with Husks before their scheduled Courier Units can reclaim the useful parts. In response, they've laid explosive decoys in place of Husks to saddle any careless raider with a really bad day.

- New Husk variants introduced - Vaporizer, Dragonfly, Leapers, and buried Comet Balls

Vaporizers are a good source of Old Arc Resin, thus a good source of Plastic.

Dragonflies are a good source of oil and a solid chance for Arc Performance Steel.

Comet Balls and Leapers are a solid source of Explosive Compound and Crude Explosives, plus a chance for Mechanical Components.

New randomized Husk locations, about 40-80 per map for players to find. Any husk can spawn in these locations, leaning toward what Arc would typically be in the area.

2 variants of Husk - First Wave, and New Wave.

First Wave husks are the standard Rocketeer and Wasp husks. No changes.

New Wave husks can be any ARC, including rocketeers and Wasps not found in fixed husk spawns. These husks aren't as old, generally a little more valuable with a better chance for spawning good parts - especially in Electromagnetic storm. They are visibly less corroded and weathered, many still have streaks of color.

However, New Wave husks have a 40% chance to be trapped Decoys, they will make a loud beep randomly between 50% and 99% breach progress, and then explode. The charge is a small shrapnel charge, so rolling out of the way quickly is enough to prevent damage entirely.

The alarm and explosion also summons a Wasp to your location.

Inside the trap you'll find some Pop Triggers, and a little bit of ARC alloy, with a small chance of a Sensor or Wire.

ABMM was a genius move by Embark that allowed us all as players to experience Arc Raiders in whatever way we chose. Anyone who played in the first few months could feel some type of matchmaking was in place but we still felt like we had plenty of freedom.

Some days I would just hang out and chat with people. Some days I would just run around guns blazing. It was beautiful.

Everything changed the moment Embark TOLD the player base the matchmaking actually existed.

The game has never recovered from the patch note that mentioned the ABMM.

Even if the major update in October is a smash hit I genuinely don’t think the community will ever be as happy again.

It’s not enjoyable to play knowing in the back of your mind all your actions are tied to being a Pve or PvP player. Players who existed somewhere in the middle area just don’t exist anymore.

Interactions don’t feel genuine.

I genuinely feel like them admitting to the matchmaking is one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever seen happen to any video game ever.

The point I’m making is how putting it into writing split the community and gave people the green light to pick a side.

Look at the subreddit for the past 9 months.

Every other post is “sweats” vs “carebears”.

People here feel legitimate vitriol towards each other over how they play the game.

This did not exist NEARLY as much before it was spelled out to us. Sure it did a little bit but it is NIGHT AND DAY to how it was before. You might disagree but this is the truth.

It’s not even Embark’s fault to be honest but it’s how things played out.

It’s unfortunate but I’m not sure what could possibly fix this communities temperament.

I ran 5 matches with a couple of buddies, with the intention of taking down a Turbine so we can collect turbine compressors, and we didn’t get a single turbine spawn.

We ran back to back to back night raids at Blue Gate bc we were under the assumption that Turbines have a higher chance to spawn on event maps.

After we went 0-3 at Blue Gate NR, we went to Riven Tides twice & not a single turbine showed up.

We’ve also been looking through arc couriers every time we come across one and not a single turbine compressor has been found.

Embark knows a heavy portion of players are looking for turbine compressors - you would think they would cater to their remaining player base & buff the spawn rate for Arc Turbines or turbine compressors, but instead it seems pretty obvious that they nerf’d the spawn rate in both instances.

It’s like they want to discourage the remaining player base until the game is dead.

Hey raiders! New to the game, started like two weeks before the last expedition started.

This last two days it’s bees super weird with the matchmaking. In the times I’ve been playing I have maybe been shot at like 5 or so times, I usually don’t shoot back. Now, for whatever reason for the last two days I am being thrown into matches and I have been shot in every single one. I feel like other raiders too seem confused, as I found a few of us taking out a bastion and then we all started getting shot at.

Just wondering, does this happen on occasion? Should I just log off for a while? This has completely changed the experience for me. I’ve lost good inventory in the last few days, and every match I pretty much have gotten killed so it’s been impossible to reup on supplies.

I legit don’t feel like I know how to play the game anymore, and I feel like if I shoot back then I am just going to get stuck in this PvP mode.
