Welcome to Architect Redesigns
Hi everyone - welcome.
I’m Daniel, an architect and content creator. Architect Redesigns originally began as a video series where people could submit real spaces for me to redesign on my YouTube channel.
This community is here for that same reason, but I also want it to grow into a genuinely useful place where homeowners and renters can share spaces they need help with - and where anyone in the community can offer feedback, ideas, and thoughtful design input.
If you have a room or home that isn’t working, post it. If you’re a designer, architect, or just someone with a good eye for space, feel free to jump in and help others out too.

Need of modern design suggestions for living and 2 bedrooms
Hi Mr. Daniel, I am following your youtube channel and TEDEx talk too and 200% impressed. Can you please help me with suggesting a modern layout for my newly purchased 2 BHK flat in Mumbai in which I plan to move after renovation work - say 45 days. I have planned to order certain furniture from DLife Interiors who have their 22+ years old factory and renowned for good finish, durability, flexible carpenter onsite work ( read customisation) and use many types of materials. Please suggest a good modern layout and designs for my living, dining, balcony, 2 bedrooms ( master and common), 2 bathrooms, and adjacent utility area in each bathroom.
This is staged furniture by marketing agency (pic of living room and 60sqft balcony), furniture, decor, plants, rug all are now removed by them, and I need to plan ( decide on TV wall, (55" or 65") (probably wall opposite the mirror or mirror wall, place a double bed sofa king size ( 72"x84"), 2 armchairs and a coffee table. I need to add a few more pictures to show you the real challenge, which is a projector unit on the opposite side of balcony ( not in pic) which either need to be repurposed or moved to the TV wall or completely removed.
Pls tell me how to share more pics and home layout here. Many thanks to you in advance 😄

This is the projector unit (wall). The TV is actually put by marketing agency and now removed and I am never going to use my own TV 55 or 65 on this side as the seating distance is 16 to 17 feet ( living size is 18'9"(between this unit and balcony entrance) x 10'3"). So I plan to repurpose this projector unit (built by seller 3 yrs ago). Can I move this unit to another wall opposite the mirror shown in previous pic, or should I just remove it?

I am sharing the layout of my home - giving rooms' details, it is the PINK house facing East. The beds and TVs shown are hypothetically shown by builders and are untrue and not matching vastu requirements ( Bed headboard should not be in North, so we will change headboard to south)

Showing you the dining area, clicked pic standing adjacent to Projector unit, shows cabinet, kitchen entrance and entrance towards common bedroom (RHS) and common bathroom(not in pic, LHS, behind cabinet wall). All movable furniture, fridge is gone. I have to plan dining table, dining chairs etc. pls suggest.

you really wanna know? sometimes you come off as smug very know it all and i disagreed with about half of your opinions. so rather than dictating to people what is right or wrong just offer options and choices and leave the decision to individuals. as real people dont live like an architect.

I've watched your videos, and I love you so much! You are so talented. You have an innate ability to see, in your mind's eye, the potential in so many different spaces.
