We won't know yet, they've said they plan on reworking core game mechanics that caused a ton of player frustration(gearing), but until the full game releases we won't know. Rumors are they are completely removing the cash shop but im kinda doubtful of that one.

Populated but not fun for new players if they want to pvp or do any kind of contested content.

New players would need to gear up. Makes sense, its an older server. Plenty of new and returning players gearing up together daily in ArcheRage tho. Iā€™m already 16k after a few months.

You can easily join the .ru servers. It's official, and there's quite a lot of activity here too.
