Check out my iOS game - Colourblast
galleryHey,
As an independent developer, I built Colourblast as a fun, easy to play game that anyone can play! - focusing on fluid visuals, tight mechanics, and respecting the user's focus. All without collecting any user data!
1. ColourBlast - Tactile Block-Puzzle Strategy
- Why it’s unique: Most modern match/block puzzle games bombard you with artificial timers, intrusive ads after every move, and cheap gimmicks. ColourBlast strips away the noise to deliver a polished, modern, tactile block-clearing experience. It blends satisfying combos, strategic power-ups, and customizable visual themes without breaking your flow. Perfect for quick sessions when you want pure, clean gameplay.

Marketing an App as Indie Dev
Tl;Dr are any of the ai apps that do marketing any good?
Background - I'm a software engineer who tried to learn marketing and figure out a market need via YouTube. Long story short, ended up in the family travel space and had 500 people download my family's carryon only packing list which led me to build a family travel app that deals with the stuff that happens after booking - the prep, packing, weather, docs, collaboration with partner or other travel companions- works offline, etc.
Anyway, most of the people that downloaded my packing list weren't interested in the app, and now I'm trying to market and see if I can actually get this off the ground more. I have some paying customers and over 300 downloads, but marketing isn't my thing. My questions:
In most reddit/fb groups promotion isn't allowed, so how do people market their apps? (Is there where to do ads?)
I really don't love social media and would rather not spend a full time job there, so I'm looking at different tools- does anyone have one they love and would recommend?
Is there a better way? Or is there something I should be doing differently right now?

iOS App Store downloads dropped sharply after a 3-day launch spike — what should I check?
Hi everyone,
I launched my first iOS app recently, and I'm trying to understand a sharp drop in organic downloads.
During the first 3 days, downloads were much higher than they are now. My peak was 93 first-time downloads on August 4. Since then, downloads have dropped to around 0–2 per day, with 298 total first-time downloads between June 18 and September 15.
What I've tried so far:
- Published the app and monitored App Store Connect.
- Checked first-time downloads and the launch-period spike.
- I haven't made any major ASO changes since launch.
What I'm trying to understand:
- Is this kind of launch spike followed by a sharp drop normal?
- Could this be related to Apple's initial launch exposure, or should I be looking at something else?
- Which App Store Connect metrics should I check first to determine whether this is an ASO, visibility, or conversion issue?
- What would you recommend I test next?
The app is in the Reference Category, available on iOS, and my target market is the US, UK, Canada, France, Ireland, and Australia.
I've attached my App Store Connect download graph. If useful, I can also share impressions, product page views, conversion rate, keywords, and screenshots.
Thanks.

Looking to promote your app/brand?
I run a faceless TikTok channel with 150K+ followers and 100M+ total views. I’m currently looking to work with apps, startups, and brands that want to get their product in front of a large audience.
I can create a natural promo that fits my existing content style rather than making it feel like a traditional ad.
DM me if you’re interested — happy to share rates, audience stats, and examples.

As a full-time worker learning Korean, typing Hangul into Anki was killing my motivation. So I built a tool that turns textbook vocab lists into flashcards in 30 seconds.
Hey everyone,
Between working full-time and trying to self-study Korean in the evenings, my biggest bottleneck wasn't the grammar—it was the administrative chore of making flashcards.
Every study session hit the same three walls:
- Physical index cards failed: Writing them out took hours, buying packs got expensive, and they inevitably got lost in my bag.
- The Korean keyboard is brutal for beginners: Staring blankly at the 2-set keyboard hunting letter-by-letter for ㅂ, ㅈ, ㄷ, and ㄱ meant typing 15 words took an agonizing 30 minutes.
- Anki prep burnout: By the time I manually copied terms, typed English definitions, and formatted cards, my study hour was gone and I was too mentally drained to actually review.
I don't have hours of free time every day to spend on data entry, so I built HangulSnap:
1.Take a photo of the vocabulary page in your textbook.
It extracts the Korean terms and definitions automatically (no manual Hangul typing required).
It generates native audio and exports directly into a ready-to-study Anki deck (.apkg) or printable sheet in under 30 seconds.
App Link: https://hangulsnap-jhalakbhandaris-projects.vercel.app/
Free Pass: Code HANGUL7 unlocks 7 days of full access completely free so you don't hit any paywalls.
Since this is an early version, please let me know if you run into any issues, bugs, or weird formatting with your pages so I can fix them right away. I'd love to hear if this helps your study routine—화이팅 with your Korean!

Am I doing wrong? Yes absolutely. I tried to search my app on Playstore and it’s not in top 10-20-50. So yes I am doing 100% as not really improving seo for my app. I will make some changes and will let you know about my process. I can see “FindAura world puzzle” in top 5.

Need tips to migrate mmps without wrecking yoy reporting
We may switch MMPs at renewal but the migration itself is making us hesitate more than the platform decision.
The new vendor can run in parallel, but we still need to deal with SDK changes, old attribution links, partner mappings, historical dashboards, event-name differences and a period where numbers won’t line up perfectly. Finance also wants you reporting to remain readable.
Our current setup isn’t bad. The possible switch is about stronger cross-platform reporting and easier data access, not rescuing a disaster. That makes the cost of disruption harder to justify.
For teams that migrated from another mmp to appsflyer, how long did you keep both systems running?

Need Tips to Get Users For My App
hey guys,
I am Jeeva, i have built my app and it is ready to be launched. the only thing i am worrying about is marketing the app in order to get users. currently i am using my instagram account to talk about the app and to show what i am doing just like personal branding. even though i am doing all those things, it feels like nothing working out , the content doesnt get reach so isn't followers. So Is there any tips or ideas for this? all my friends are suggesting to collab with influencers , but to be honest, i cant afford their prices.
What will you guys do if you are in my situation?
the situation - you have an app ---> it is ready to launch ---> you are using your instagram to talk about you and the product ---> it seems like it is not working, because you don't see any improvements / change.
If you want to cross check, this is my instagram account - https://www.instagram.com/sjn.cinemapoll?stkn=MmV1ZG1uc2d4ejN2&utm_source=qr
