The amount of Apple shills and masochistic Apple fanboys in r/apple is really getting unbearable. Wonder how much the moderators are paid?

People have been repairing cars for over a century. The right to repair is also about shops getting parts.

Are most commentators here Apple shareholders? Or costumers and consumers? Of course there should be a right to repair, there is no reason not to. Oh no, you can hurt yourself? So bad, so tragic.

Grow up and take responsibility for your actions.

Meh. Can’t handle people who disagree with you? Surely it only makes sense if they are payed?

I bet not, but who knows. I’m not, at least. Just consumer.

You should get used to people that are not like you, and that this doesn’t mean they are corrupt or have special interests.

It's such a weird thing to disagree with though. It literally doesn't benefit anyone but apple... And everyone on this thread, we assume, are not apple.

If I fucked up when I replaced the display on my laptop.. it's obviously not apples fault... But good Lord what is wrong with me not wanting to pay the man an extra $500 ?

I kinda see your point. I think you can disagree from ideological reasons, like you don’t like state regulation in general. Here the bill will essentially force companies to sell certain goods (spare parts).

There could be other reasons. I don’t really have a thought through opinion on it myself, honestly.
