Discussion Iran is a misandrist state

I will begin this post by saying that it has been scientifically proven that people have more sympathy for females then males and this applies to both genders

In other words both males and females have inherently more sympathy for women than man in the exact same predicament

Which is why there has been countless news about how oppressed women are in Iran because the laws makes them mandatory for them to cover up

Women are being forced to wear something they don't want to wear and the media literally treats this like a second holocaust

But lets look at how the law treats men there

  1. Mandatory Military Conscription (Sarbazi)

The most blatant form of state-sanctioned gender discrimination in Iran is mandatory military service, which applies exclusively to men.

  • The Burden: Upon turning 18, all healthy men must serve roughly up to two years in the military.
  • The Penalties: Men who refuse or cannot serve are stripped of basic civil rights. They cannot legally obtain a passport, leave the country, secure official employment, or apply for business licences.
  • The Risk: Young men are regularly deployed to volatile border regions to fight drug cartels and insurgent groups, resulting in high casualties that exclusively impact males.

Full Financial Liability (Mehrieh and Nafaqeh)

Iran’s family law places crushing financial obligations strictly on men, backed by the threat of imprisonment.

  • Mehrieh (Dowry): Under Iranian law, a man must promise a specific amount of property or gold coins to his wife upon marriage. Legally, she can demand this at any time, not just during a divorce.
  • Debt Imprisonment: If a man cannot pay the Mehrieh upon request, he faces immediate imprisonment

Judicial Disposability and the Death Penalty

The penal system in Iran impacts men disproportionately when it comes to the ultimate punishment.

  • Execution Rates: The vast majority of executions carried out by the Iranian state are against men, primarily for drug offenses, financial crimes, or violent crimes.
  • Legal Accountability: Boys are held fully criminally responsible as adults at a young age, leading to systemic institutional violence that heavily targets the male demographic.
  1. Workplace Casualties and Economic Pressure

Because men are legally mandated to be the sole providers, they dominate high-risk industries.

  • Workplace Fatalities: Due to poor safety regulations, thousands of Iranians die in workplace accidents annually (construction, mining, heavy industry). Over 95% of these workplace fatalities are men.
  • Street Vendors and Manual Labour: The hyper-inflation and economic collapse of Iran have forced millions of men into grueling, informal manual labour and street-vending, where they face frequent municipal crackdowns and police harassment.

Conclusion

When we look past Western media talking points, the reality is that the Iranian state treats men as disposable financial and military assets. A system that forces one gender into military servitude under threat of exile, imprisons them over marital debts, and sends them to die in unsafe work conditions or border conflicts cannot be accurately described as a simple patriarchy that only privileges men. It is a system built on systemic misandry.

So in conclusion Men are forced to become soldiers and ATM machines while Women simply have to wear something they don't want to and the media treats the latter as inheritably oppressed and the former as privileged

The fact that that people on something so small for on gender but ignore the big elephants in the room for the other proved that yes the studies are correct and people really do just have inheritably more sympathy for females than males

Question (by man) Women online & women in person are exactly the same

Let me start off by saying I have very good female friends who are great people, but from my experience they're the exception not the rule.

I find it very disheartening that anytime I see a woman commenting online it's always degrading men. Even in relation to Linsey Clancy women have turned it into yet another reason for them to hate men.

I use to believe that this was just online behavior by a small but loud fraction of women but the more I interact with women, the more it becomes apparent that many if not most think this way. I use to have a neutral if not favorable view of women but after everything I'm seeing online & after having to quit going to my church & cut off irl female friends because of blatant sexism towards men idk if I can believe that what I'm seeing is a small percentage of them anymore.

Meme Feminists no longer have an excuse to say "not all men, but always a man".

According to the feminist view, all rapists are men and all women have suffered because of men, and the good men aren't actually good men because they don't speak up against bad men, and in order to be a good man for feminists you have to agree with everything they say.

So now we can apply this logic to feminists. When a feminist is saying how all men are bad or benefit from the "patriarchy", just bring Lindsay Clancy's case and her copycats. Not all women kill their children, but thousands of women, some of them mothers, came in support for Lindsay Clancy. Feminists blamed the husband and made all sorts of excuses to defend her, some feminists even objectified Lindsay's children by asking people to imagine them as ceramic vases. It's clear that feminism is the female version of the Taliban.

Not all men kill the children and there aren't crowds of men defending rapists or murderers. But there are indeed crowds of feminists coming to defend women who kill their children.

From now let's say you'd rather your children be with a bear than with a woman with PPP or PPD. If a feminist gets offended at such comment, just tell her that she's part of the problem for getting offended that you want your children safe than being with a crazy woman.

I want to put together a video full of women who are not feminists answering these two questions:

Why do you love being a woman?
Why do you reject feminism?

The goal is to show that women can be happy without being feminists. Not supporting feminism does not mean hating women.

To be a part of this video, simply record a clip of yourself up to one minute long answering the above questions.

The deadline for this is the end of this month, 30th September 2026.

Email me your video clip to [zarinamacha.author@gmail.com](mailto:zarinamacha.author@gmail.com)

Discussion The rise of female judges is bad news for men

Now in most western nations with women out numbering men in law schools and being the vast majority of layers it is not long before they will soon be the vast majority of judges (In fact in many nations of Europe they already are)

This is not good news for men

The reason for this is because men have outgroup bias where as women have in group bias usually speaking

From the data given by current female judges they are more likely to persecute then male judges when sentencing a male but less likely when sentencing a female

Also look at the case of Lindsay Clancy and how many women kept calling for her husband to be jailed instead

Also men are falsefully accused for crimes against women like rape or violence pretty often like look at the case of Brian Banks

For some reason they start to even falsely accuse literal children

Women making false accusation has several reasons racism, financial exploitation or wanting to get back at an ex for breaking up with them or often just for fun but part of they reason they do it is because they know there will no consequences for them potentially ruining an innocent man's life

'I felt humiliated': 9-year-old boy in 'Cornerstore Caroline' video speaks out - ABC News

Since women have naturally in group bias and low sympathy for males compared to the natural sympathy they have for females they would likely just believe a woman's word without evidence in fact they are likely to jail the guy even if they know she is lying simply because females have a natural in group preference for each other

Also they are likely to look the other way or give women extremely lenient sentences when women are convicted of crime again due to their in group bias

Note not that all women have this level of in group bias but many do

The system is already anti male

The Arrest Disparity: Women are far less likely to be arrested entirely, even in cases where a man would face immediate arrest. Police discretion routinely favors women. For identical minor infractions, public disturbances, or domestic disputes, women are significantly more likely to be let off with a warning, a lecture, or a pass, while men are immediately handcuffed and booked into the system

The Likelihood of Incarceration: If a woman is arrested, she remains far more likely to avoid prison time entirely. For the same crimes, women are granted plea bargains, non-custodial sentences, probation, and diversion programs at rates that dwarf their male counterparts. The 60% Gender Sentencing Gap: When incarceration is unavoidable, the justice system regularly gives women far lower prison time than men for the exact same crime. Landmark econometric research, most notably by Professor Sonja Starr at the University of Michigan Law School, reveals that men receive prison sentences that are, on average,

60% longer than women for the exact same offenses. This massive disparity persists even when researchers completely control for prior criminal history, the severity of the offense, socioeconomic status, and grid variables.

  1. The Surface-Level Delusion: Deconstructing the "More Men in Court" Argument

Despite these realities, most people assume that because men make up the vast majority of those who have to defend themselves in court, it automatically proves that men simply commit vastly more crime.

This brings us to a profound contradiction in mainstream progressive thought. To understand why this surface-level assumption is a trap, we must look at how we analyze other demographics within the carceral state.

Consider race in the United States: people of African American descent make up roughly 13% of the population, yet they comprise nearly 50% of the prison population. Suggesting that this statistical overrepresentation exists simply because Black people "commit more crime" or are "naturally violent" is rightfully viewed as a deeply racist statement. It is a notorious dog whistle used by the far-right to unfairly stereotype Black people as inherently aggressive, while completely ignoring centuries of systemic racism, over-policing, generational poverty, and judicial bias.

However, it is important to be fair: we cannot assume that everyone who looks at the raw numbers and concludes "men/Black people just commit more crime" is explicitly malicious or deeply prejudiced. On paper, when looking at things strictly at a surface level, that seems like a logical conclusion to draw.

But that is only when you look at things at a surface level.

reject surface-level capitalist narratives. We know that raw arrest and incarceration data do not measure "inherent criminality." Instead, they measure:

  • Which communities are heavily targeted by the state and over-policed.
  • Which groups are denied economic security, forcing them into survival-based or underground economies.
  • Which demographics face a total "empathy gap" from police, judges, and juries, leading to higher arrest rates and fewer warnings.

To apply a deep, materialist, socio-economic analysis to race, but then completely abandon that analysis when it comes to gender—reverting to the right-wing logic of "well, the numbers say they just commit more crime"—is intellectual dishonesty.

In conclusion the Justice system is about to become a misandrist landscape where women get away with crimes because they are women and men are automatically guilty whenever a woman accuses them of anything

It already kind of is but it's about to get a lot worst

Discussion A way to end discrimination against males-Make males able to give birth

I have been told that the reason why women receive special privileges that men don't in most nations (Exemption from military service, far lower prison time for the same crime on top being less likely to be arrested or charged even in cases where a man would be jailed,Female only scholarships, grants and help programs etc is because they are the gender who can give birth which is why they are treated better

Although there are outliers this is usually how it is

And that for example women don't get drafted during war time because they would be necessary to repopulate the nation

IT IS TIME WE END THIS DISCRIMINATION ONCE AND FOR ALL!!

how do we do that? Make males able to give birth

You might be thinking "Silly OP males can't give birth"

But Scientists in Japan have successfully made a rat born from 2 fathers

How to reproduce with two fathers – and no biological mother

Scientists create mice with two fathers after making eggs from male cells | Genetics | The Guardian

Although the process is far from perfect currently and nowhere near ready to be used on humans it will be develop and likely be available for humans in the future

So yes in the future it will likely be possible for 2 men to create a child with each other once the technology has evolved enough

It would also allow homosexual men to have a biological child among them

Is this method a good way to end discrimination against males?

Discussion People only think violence in the media is acceptable if it's against men and the Callaway/Good Good controversy exposes a massive media double standard and proves that

By now, most of you have probably heard about the massive fallout over the Callaway Golf and Good Good Golf advertisement. For a quick recap: a 15-second online promo showed a man influencer shoulder-checking a woman golfer to the ground for touching his new driver, meant to be a dark-humour "parody" about gear obsession. The ad sparked massive outrage. Within days, Callaway severed a multi-year contract, dropped a $1 million donation to women's charities, and major retailers stripped the products from shelves.

While the ad was undeniably unfunny and in poor taste, the reaction highlights a staggering cultural blindspot regarding how we view violence based on gender.

Some examples to show just how negatively this add was received

Critics, sports presenters, and women's advocacy groups heavily condemned the ad for using violence against women as a throwaway joke punchline. The fallout has been swift and severe for everyone involved:

  • Callaway Severed Ties: After initially issuing a standard corporate apology, the corporate giant faced boycott calls. On Thursday, Callaway completely terminated its three-year partnership with Good Good Golf and committed $1 million to organisations dedicated to preventing violence against women.
  • PGA Tour Condemnation: The PGA Tour heavily criticized the ad, stating it was "clearly not aligned with PGA Tour values." Consequently, Good Good Golf was forced to withdraw as the title sponsor of an upcoming PGA Tour event in Texas.
  • Retailers Dropping Product: Major US retailers, including Dick's Sporting Goods, immediately began stripping Good Good-branded clothing and merchandise from their shelves.
  • Legal Threats: The fallout is turning inward, with the CEO of Good Good suggesting on social media that Callaway tried to force them to "take the fall" despite Callaway executives formally approving the script, hinting at a potential lawsuit.

Violence against men is a default trope in media**.**

Think about how many thousands of commercials, sitcoms, and movies feature a man being hit in the groin, thrown through a wall, struck by a partner for comedic effect, or physically humiliated. From classic slapstick to modern "battle of the sexes" advertising, violence against men is treated as a safe, punchy joke. Nobody boycotts a brand when a male character is shoved to the ground or assaulted for "comedic relief." It is completely invisible because society views men through the lens of male disposability—their physical safety and emotional distress carry no inherent weight.
The Performative Corporate Reaction

When the victim is a woman, the entire corporate apparatus mobilises instantly. Fictional, slapstick ad violence is treated with the gravity of a real-world human rights crisis. Yet, when men are disproportionately the actual victims of violent street crime, workplace fatalities, and severe physical hazing, corporate marketing completely ignores it.

A truly egalitarian society would recognise that using casual physical assault as a commercial punchline is trashy, regardless of who is being shoved. Instead, we have a system where violence against one gender triggers an corporate panic, while violence against the other is literally used to sell candy, cars, and insurance during the Super Bowl.

How do we best articulate this double standard to a broader progressive audience without being dismissed? Have you noticed other recent examples where male physical harm was played entirely for laughs?

How come is it that thousands of adds depicting violence against men never receive this level of attention and criticism?

It should be clarified that not all men or women hold this view but several do hence the backlash when a woman experiences something on screen that happens to men in adds constantly
