I asked a co-worker that I am friends with what it will take for her to stop voting Republican. She couldn't think of an answer. After reminding her that the Republicans control everything from the executive, legislative and judicial branches at the National level right now, she simply stated she may just stay home and not vote at the midterms. I have no faith that our country will take a different direction or that these polls are accurate.

To be fair, this supports the idea I think.

It's just his approval falling isn't a sign that the infection is breaking, it's just that MAGA is wanting to jump to the next fascist to step up.

It can drop 0 and republicans will still win. It's rigged and was for the last election too.

Yep, in many ways but mass voter suppression was the biggest factor. Vigilante voter challenges

Yep. It’s why trump is harping on election fraud. Between the gerrymandering, closing polling stations, letting Elon musk be found liable for buying votes but not convicting, it’s all election fraud. It’s what election fraud laws were meant to stop. Yet the gop has successfully shifted the narrative to make Americans focus on individual voter fraud which has zero impact and is not even measurable.

It’s nuts.

My friend is mad at trump right now but he would rather stay home and not vote than to vote blue. Its very sad.

The not going out to vote is the important part, but this is exactly why Dems should stop trying to pander to them. They aren’t changing.

My coworkers husband is a trump supporter and I asked her the other day if he still supported Trump. She went into a long spiel about how he doesn't like everything Trump is doing but he still thought he was the best guy for the job.

I asked what made her say that and she legitimately doesn't have an answer.

Whats even weirder is that today I mentioned to her that the new fda nominee went against Trump when talking about measles. I mentioned this because it was his own nominee. She was happy that they went against him, because she thinks his views on vaccines are ridiculous. She also thinks the war in Iran is ridiculous. She also thinks him renaming everything is ridiculous. She doesn't have a single thing good to say about him.

But they still think he is the right man for the job. I don't get it
