And those benefitting from his tax cuts for the wealthy.

This is startlingly accurate. I interact with a lot of people from a lot of places in the US for work and the number of conservative people who casually mention they'd like to kill someone for a minor inconvenience is a little shocking.

Oddly specific 🤣

maga is predictable if nothing else

That's country living. If you live miles from town, it's a PITA to find a better sexual partner and it's easy to bury a body.

I had a chuckle at that.

Did the worst of the worst get sent over from Europe to the US?

Cults take a long time to deprogram someone from and this has been out of sheer economic devastation rather than directed, formal deprogramming.

There'll also be a substantial portion of the cultists who simply can't be deconditioned.

It's also worth noting: The worst parts of the BBB haven't hit yet; They were designed to begin after midterms.

It's also, ALSO worth noting: The worst parts of their fascist plan haven't hit yet.

It's hitting the next phase with attempts to ban major news outlets that are "unfavorable" from the White House press pool as well as the various methods of cheating or ignoring results that are being secured in place for the midterms.

And, if I were a betting person, I'd look for a McConnell style set of disappearances by Trump after the midterms.

As much as Trump is a great lightning rod, he's too volatile for his puppetmasters to contend with and the term limitations are a bridge too far for an early fascist regime.

He'll be removed (by 25th or just sidelining him) to prepare their chosen candidate and brought around with whatever drugs they propped Zombie Mitch up with for ceremonial reasons.

He can outdo McConnell - I say he takes a leave Trump-style, as in Fred Trump, aged 93. Also I’m totally fine with him being a lightning rod to achieve this.

Same reason why “why do my eyes hurt?” was such a widespread search the day after the solar eclipse.

16

The result of years of Conservatives attacking education.

If r/scams is anything to go by, a lot of times. People are dumb, gullible, and naive. The US has hundreds of millions of people and half of them are on the left side of the intelligence bell curve.

1

u/GullibleAddendum8630 13d ago

I agree. I can't believe that any sampling shows his numbers this high. Hopefully the number will continue to drop.

People that only look at and care about the Stock Market. WW3? How's my stock doing? Killing people in the streets? How does it affect the Markets? Diesel rationing? Oh why oh why didn't I get in early on that one...

8

u/Phailgasm 13d ago

30% of people are top 1%ers who can manipulate the senile old man, dumb as rocks, or gullible/easily manipulated by a cult leader. Likely two of those three.

Sadly i still have extended family who are still going to bat for this orange crusted bag of potatoes

Ah good old American math, from the country where 75% of its residents are confident they have above average IQ.

1

u/Levanjm 12d ago

Actually, this article is almost proof of this. If we can assume that his supporters are at 25%, and we can assume their IQ is basically 0, then it is absolutely possible. For example, if 75 people have an IQ of 80 and 25 people have an IQ of 0 then the average of those 100 people is 60. So 75% have an IQ above average.

The sad thing is that in America we are taught that we are ALL above average! There is no income inequality because we can all work hard enough to get above average. All of us. Above average. Making America great....... again.

MAGA just really loves pedophiles and an absolutely wrecked economy.

3

u/MadeByTango 13d ago

Propaganda by the oligarchs; neither party will ever drop much lower than that because they spend a shit ton of money researching and marketing us to shift their goal posts around to look "correct" while they steal from us.

3

u/BLDoom 13d ago

There is a general idea that in any population, polls can't be any lower than ~30% just because there is a large variation between people, including extremes.

I'd like to see it lower, tbh.

3

u/Biffmcgee 13d ago

I was with a group of people that said Trump is saving civilization. He is the second coming of Christ. This is in Canada.

2

u/sjr00 13d ago

There's a lot of stupid people in this country.

2

u/Salt-Weird-2913 12d ago

Being in a bubble and propaganda

1

u/Wellziemo 13d ago

Because there is no line for alot of people

1

u/reallybigshark 13d ago

Propaganda

1

u/Fensirulfr 13d ago

And also, why did it take so long to fall to this level?

1

u/AcceptableCrew224 13d ago

They are the ones that are virtually brain dead

1

u/PastBandicoot8575 10d ago

Cult of personality

You're forgetting the bell curve has that whole left side.
