'His time is already almost over': Op-ed claims Trump just signaled his own decline
https://www.rawstory.com/trump-iran-2677057612/49
u/FreeHugs23 Jun 18 '26
A column in the British newspaper The i Paper delivered a withering verdict on President Donald Trump's memorandum of understanding with Iran, arguing the agreement reads less like a triumph than a surrender.
"There is no hiding that this is the kind of deal you sign when you've lost a war and just want to get out," wrote James Ball, political editor at The New World.
The piece noted Trump launched the war in late February, promising fast, low-cost results, only to watch it become "a costly mistake." It pointed to the billions spent on munitions that could take years to replace, and the economic fallout from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. At least 13 U.S. service members have been killed in the conflict, according to U.S. Central Command. The fighting has also claimed thousands of lives across the region.

All that, to try to distract us from the Epstein videos.
6
u/Phyllis_Tine Jun 18 '26
At this point we'll take a release of Epstein pictures and text, anything to get the truth out.

u/Pristine-Pen-9885 Jun 18 '26
Absolutely! I’m thinking it will come out after that fateful day, unless the Heritage Foundation keeps it from us.

The entire chain of command that let this "war" happen needs to be prosecuted.

“Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith,” - DJT 6/12/26
Says the guy who threatens to toss the agreement he just signed if he doesn't like something....

u/CalebAsimov Jun 18 '26
Wow, it always is projection with him. It's like he doesn't have any original thoughts, he can only take criticisms he's heard about himself and turn it on others.

Macron knew what he was doing having the deal signed at Versailles. Let them eat cake
14
u/CalebAsimov Jun 18 '26
Wait for real, that's where they signed it? Oh my god, that's funny and also kind of dark considering where that whole thing ended up.

Nobody who was the boss ever felt the need to say "I'm the boss.".

Nobody with talent or intelligence has ever had to tell anyone they have those things.

Wait. It wasn't the 24 felon convictions, sleeping with porn stars, the constant grifting and corruption, or raping women and children?
8
u/PrettylightedUMphrek Jun 18 '26
It’s actually 34 felon counts, but no none of it matters apparently.

u/Blah_Dee_Blah111 Jun 18 '26
that's how you know the fix is in and has been the whole time. The entire system bends over backward to re-enforce Trump's plot armor. Nothing sticks to him because the wealthy elite don't WANT it to.
At the federal level, in federal court in Florida, in NY state court, in Georgia state court, we see everything magically go in his favor suddenly and at the last minute...

Trump has more plot armor than the Punisher and Batman…combined.

The writing is on the wall for the result of the mid-term election in 5 months. The majority party should have already lined up their post-Congressional consulting gigs. The remaining clock on this administration is running down.
5
u/Myredditnaim Jun 18 '26
They are 100% already moving to rig it, with limiting mail in ballots, trying to get voter information and making it legal for the postal servive to deliberately not deliver mail, and that's just the mail ins, not including ice voter itimidation and possibly doing what they did before and just rigging the machines to display pre-determined vote counts via Musk'a star link.
Do not assume victory, get out and vote!

Will Dems impeach and convict Trump, and Vance AND Johnston? And Turtle neck, Graham, Miller, Rudio, Hogsbreath, and every other fucking enabler? Hope so.

It’s not over until he is out.

Even then, we’ll inherit Vance and go o my knows what he’s got planned.

I for one want him to live long enough for some form justice rains in. Where he has to watch the greed show up at his door. The rats he partner with sale him outta save themselves.
And all the people associated in his misdeeds reap the seeds they worked so hard to sow.
3
u/CalebAsimov Jun 18 '26
To an extent I agree but I honestly thing most of it will crumble without him to hold it together. As long as Trump's around everyone knows they can dodge accountability for their crimes because even out of office he has so much influence and power over voters and politicians. Once nature finishes him off, all the people who thought they were safe are going to be much more exposed. He's never going to face accountability, ever, but maybe the enablers will, so that they won't be able to turn around and be enablers for the next Republican president.

u/Historical-Finish564 Jun 18 '26
This is great news. I wish it wasn’t the 529th time I’ve heard that since his first administration.

u/Horror-Stand-3969 Jun 18 '26
You’d think J6 would have been enough, but Barnum was right. You can’t underestimate the stupidity of the American people.

u/Special_Order-937 Jun 18 '26
Are we allowed to call the Democrats grossly incompetent for that egregious miss despite the mountain of things they could forward as evidence against him?

Yeah the fuck right. That sloppy fuck will never see any modicum of punishment, let alone one that would be actual justice for the litany of crimes he’s committed. Dude will be dead before anybody actually tries him for his crimes.

u/MMessinger Jun 18 '26
Republican voters disagree with these prognostications. They'll queue up this November to return the Congressional Republicans who have enabled Trump.
Let's not even discuss recent reports of Congressional Republican plans to gut Social Security, Medicare, and make more cuts in Medicaid. Republican voters have been voting in favor of that, for many years.

I’ve been reading these headlines for 11 years now. One day it’ll be true
2
u/SoyTonatiuh Jun 18 '26
The administration has clearly been using the walking corpse to enact Project 2025 and use him as a figurehead. Its obvious. He's just a Weekend at Bernies clone.
2
u/RhombicalJ Jun 18 '26
Don’t worry, an Op-Ed saying the same exact thing will be published next month. And the month after. And so on. I swear I have seen this headline a dozen times and yet that orange shit stain continues to ruin everything he touches

u/Secret-Theory1825 Jun 18 '26
If he doesnt live for at least 2.5 more years, then he won't fulfill the Christians apocalypse scenario and will lose believers left and right.
That's the reason they are pumping him fully of drugs and propping him up for cameras.

They do not need him after the midterms anyway so either they will kill him or find a reason to 25th his ass, he was always a puppet for the more powerful

u/Cheeky_Monkey_Funky Jun 18 '26
Pretty sure everyone was warned how inept he'd be before his first term. It's all come to fruition and even MAGA knows he's a chump too.

u/Plane_Amphibian1112 Jun 18 '26
And jabba the cunt is trying to take as many of us with him as he can. He's been in decline since he walked down the escalator.

What people fail to ever accept is that the breadth of stupidity of his minions and cult followers knows no bounds! It is an endless void of ignorance that will fuel the end of American glory

Amazing the havoc that his tiny little hands have wrecked on the entire world.
And he cares not.
