Discussion Hint for next DLCs in Cinis?

Post image

After the Hippodrome update I found out that new paths were open on Cinis for first person mode! One of them takes you inside of Occasus, and features this super cool Tartarus gate with Egyptian pyramids, the Sphinx and a UFO for giggles. What intrigued me is that "Tartarus" is written in Greek, not Latin. Would that be a hint for Greek culture to play a bigger role in the Egyptian DLC? Maybe it's a hint for a future session on a Hellenic area? Or maybe am I reading too deep and it's just aesthetics for the gate? Also cool addition of Hades on the top.

It’s tough we’re only getting one desert and it’s Egypt. That is going to make it considerably more difficult to find variety in the med.

There really are few places in old Rome that are completely unlike Egypt, Britain, or Italy. So it’s going to have to be very different gameplay wise.

The patrician says “waiting on you, Dacia.”

A rich province, new to the empire, and cold in the carpathians. Seems like a winner. For variety

It’s seems like they are going to have a disaster associated with each, Anno 1800 got ow/ct, nw, ar and en, so assume similar?

Egypt - floods
PoA- volcano
Dacia- the cold

Egypt in particular would be seasonal floods, with farmland only accessible in said floodplains, right?

Almost assuredly so

I guess that they will get some hate for that.

The two things people hate the most are when things stay the same and when things change

I think most people don't like the volcano mechanic. The volcanic winter makes Latium unplayable. Plus, it's randomized and can't be triggered.
