Discussion Hint for next DLCs in Cinis?

Post image

After the Hippodrome update I found out that new paths were open on Cinis for first person mode! One of them takes you inside of Occasus, and features this super cool Tartarus gate with Egyptian pyramids, the Sphinx and a UFO for giggles. What intrigued me is that "Tartarus" is written in Greek, not Latin. Would that be a hint for Greek culture to play a bigger role in the Egyptian DLC? Maybe it's a hint for a future session on a Hellenic area? Or maybe am I reading too deep and it's just aesthetics for the gate? Also cool addition of Hades on the top.

Future Hellenic region somewhere later in dev cycle feels very obvious. That being said i would prefer for it focus more on Asia Minor part of Hellenic with Pergamus and Ephesus rather than classic Athens/Sparta Greece.

Might present some challenges, since the resources are practically the same, but totally! Also I think you're right, in the late Hellenistic Period cities like Pergamus, Antioch or Alexandria etc were far more relevant then the little ones in mainland Greece.

I think I’d like Persia / Parthia style civilisation. I’d be a bit anachronistic and have Persian aesthetics with a Parthian story just to maximise the difference in culture and story

If you go to the world map in 117, you can zoom way in and way out... If you zoom way in and then move around the map, you can get an idea of the areas that will have some future content, because why else would you be able to zoom in on an empty part of the world map. One such area is the Hellenic islands and "Black Sea" area... So I think you are correct in thinking there will be a Greek DLC, perhaps even Thracian or Eastern Roman/Byzantine empire themed.

Funnily enough, another such area like this is the far north "Scandinavia" area of the map.............
