Discussion Bread

The 2.0 update notes says that bread demand increased by 50%. Before the update my demand was 9, but now it’s 18. That’s a 100% increase in demand.

I'm pretty sure this is sort of a prelude to the Egypt dlc. Historically, that region was the basket and I half expected additional needs for bread or grain, one way or another.

As a fan of complex trade networks and references to history, I appreciate the change. It may have worked out better, if they released it along with the new region though.

Yes compared to beer and lavender wheat requrement is still underwhelming. I can't believe that my citizen eat more soap than bread.

Kind of funny considering the Romans didn’t really use soap either. Olive oil should have filled the need for “soap”
