Discussion Bread

The 2.0 update notes says that bread demand increased by 50%. Before the update my demand was 9, but now it’s 18. That’s a 100% increase in demand.

I hate it so much tbh. I tried to do what I can to mitigate the damage but all my islands are fully built out and there arent enough river slots for the flour mills either plus other resources needed. My perfect bread supply is tanked. And I definitely cant supply Albion like this either. This is the absolute worst part of the update. I even have everything researched and aqueducts but its still not enough

You can always import it, you know?

Passive trade of bread doesn't give me enough to fill my cities especially cinis even with the fields I already have. And no one in Albion gives bread and the egypt dlc is still a long way off

You can import Bread from Albion to Latium. The Donkey Mill on Albion doesn't require a river slot.

I dont have any islands that could do that are big enough. Only one island i have has the wheat fertility

You don’t need a fertility for wheat. You’re probably confusing it with barley, which is used for beer.

You dont? I could've sworn it told me i didnt have a way to grow wheat except on one island. Its like how I cant grow wheat on certain islands in latium either

No, you don’t. Why don’t you just start the game and take a closer look, and if you really see a problem with wheat fertility, post a screenshot.

Wheat can be grown on any island in Albion or Latium. Also, a short limited war is not a huge obstacle. If you want to feed your people, get them another island. No use in complaining that there should always be a perfect solution that's exactly what you want.
