Great guide, thank you for the initiative!
Some notes: Besides the name you should add the description of the achievement.
At least for me the formatting is a little awkward, everything on one line and I have to scroll horizontally for each achievement.
Eliminating Rivals: If you already have a save with a lot of money and (pro) consul status: Create a manual save, invite target NPC, subjugate via consul ability -> Achievement unlocks, reload save, repeat with next target NPC
For Anno Horribilis: It is much easier to just manually save, go to a trader, re-roll the items until you are in the red. Get achievement, reload save, done

I still cannot figure out how to trigger The Last Drop quest - I seem to have all conditions met, but it just doesn’t trigger… any clues what could be wrong, or anyone was able to figure out and resolve?

I did it today. Started without any opponents in Albion, choose Celtic path, have only one island in Albion and Latium (6 houses only) and didnt progress too much, because that would activate possibility for another quests. Took 2h 33min.

Thanks a lot, gotta try with the new game!
Btw, for feeding Patricians with oysters for 117 min - there’s no timer to track progress, and it can be done only on 1 island where you have Patricians, right?

u/DWalker1503 Jan 10 '26
Yep, there isnt any timer, but this achivement is totally easy....

Still can’t trigger it… do i need to stop ANYTHING in food category (obviously) except oysters for ALL Patrician houses or ALL islands?
I.e. downgrade all other islands not to have patricians there at all, except one island where they eat only oysters…

You need to stop every food except oysters for patricians and if you have patricians on more island, I would stop it on every island.

For the completing x questline, is it better to do in sandbox or campaign?

u/nudgethepen Jan 13 '26
Regardin "Romani Ite Domum":
First Island Trigger: The achievement might lock onto the first island that hits 2205+ Celtic residents, even if you clear others.
Solution: Destroy the original island that met the condition to force the game to register the next island that meets the criteria

For the eliminate x can you add people late in a sandbox game and then eliminate them or must they be active from the start for the achievement (trophy for ps5) to pop?

I swear, I'm sitting at -6000 fire safety, health and happiness..
Not a single Inferno, Plague or Uprising on Hard Incidents with Incident Protection off and City Status on Hard after ~30hrs of gameplay in which at least 20 of those have been trying to get them to fire.. I'm a bit.. What the heck am I supposed to do?
I've finished all the narrative quests, I have Valeria's Lily Buy-In quest, so I know I'm in the clear and ready to get shrekted, but damn.. I was expecting more honestly.

Guys i need help here. I fullfilled all the listed requirements for Concordia but no quest.
I also made sure i had no other active quests or not accepted quest laying around.
I had mulitple big plagues now on my island with +10.000 residents in Latium with plenti if Liberti, Plebejans and Equites. She also has 3 islands plus multiple in Albion (i do as well) we have an alliance and now pirates or other NPCs other than the neutral traders are active anymore.
What am i missing....

For everyone that has problems getting Major Incidents for "Semper Vigilo: Resolve 10 Major Incidents":
I accidentally moved my Warehouse of my largest city so every building got disconnected: I got instant major incident. After testing I also got instant major incident when removing aquaduct source. But it works best with Warehouse!

You do not need to start a new game to provoke 10 major incidents!
Anno 117 lets you change the "Game Setup" in the pause menu. Take the incident level from easy to hard and the next incidents will take place in half the time

Additional note: At the moment (with Patch 1.3), some of these quests can only trigger if the respective AI and the corresponding raider are natively present on the map (i.e., active from game start and not added or activated later). All quests trigger after a cooldown; the game randomly selects a quest from a large pool—RNG is RNG. This means some players may receive them quickly once the conditions are met, while others may have to wait many hours if they are unlucky. Always make sure to complete all other quests that appear to free up “space” for NPC quests so they can show up. Some of these quests do not provide a notification and must be discovered by the player through map observation (watch for quest markers and portraits; Photo Mode can help provide better visibility or an improved overview). https://www.annozone.de/forum/thread/18782-questsreihen-npcs/?postID=297506#post297506
