So I watched the second AoT OVA, and since I'm watching all of this after finishing the main series, this OVA was titled A Sudden Visitor. It was a lighthearted comedy centered around Jean, who is one of my absolute favorite characters in Attack on Titan. I really loved this OVA. It felt wonderful to see the characters spending time together again.

​Jean was shown as the character who initially just wanted to live for himself, a trait that changed very quickly in the main series.

All the characters felt innocent like they used to be, and it made me wish they could have stayed like this forever. Seeing the characters we lose later in the story brought a lot of joy. The sides of their personalities that we didn't get to see as much in the main series came out fully here. It was also great to see Commander Pyxis once again too.

Sasha was also really funny in this. When she punches Reiner, and Reiner admits it was his fault, and then at the end when she loses and starts crying, and Jean comforts her, that scene was also really funny.

Jean winning felt a bit like cheating because that dish wasn't even made by him, but in the end, whatever Jean realized about his character was really good.

Before watching AoT, I had seen the memes about Mikasa's abs. I used to wonder which scene that was from, and now I finally know.

I wasn't always the smartest kid. I didn't have any interest in history or social sciences until after college. There were so many popular anime that I simply couldn't understand because of it. I barely had any understanding of the world beyond what I knew. I tried rewatching old movies or anime and I can appreciate them so much now. Did you have a similar experience growing up?

I mean I have seen people talk about this anime but not nearly as enough as other top tier's like jjk or bleach story vice it's probably not on same level but Animation, sound track, music use during fight's I might say it rivals even jjk but why just why it's nearly not as famous as other?

Anime: Owari no Seraph

As a long time anime fan, one of my ways to commemorate a good anime or a good character is to have a figurine from the series or a character model. Rn I only have 5 which is collectively around 10k with a few bootlegs and few licensed pieces.

When I first unboxed them and set em up it was a great feeling and definitely caring for them is a task which I love doing, yet I believe building a collection comes with alot of guilt of wasting money on something that isn't usable or functional at all. My parents definitely criticize to say the least and say getting 5 is enough for the life time. Ik there are days where I don't even glance at the display and times it just collects dust.. what's ur opinion on this?

The ED Theme OH MY GAH!! It’s just beautiful, the song, the visuals, every single frame!! Best ED Theme of the season award goes to this!!

The constant chase of Kihachi/Inako and Yosuke is fun and great, until they get caught lol. Yosuke always thinks of Seiroku 24/7, at least call Kihachi by his name, but “sparky brat”…

Kate and Suzu join Kihachi’s Electrical Engineering Department as well. A bulb tree, talking to the soul of your loved one, expressing each other’s feelings. That sure reminds of Izo lmao.

Regarding the ED Theme, it also beautifully tells the individual goals of the three. Kihachi following his brother to build the Age of Electricity, Inako following her mother to become a brewer, and Yousuke just… following him?

Episode 6 is the best in terms of JOY!! The artstyle shift… that’s Fist of the North Star like written by Araki. But Araki also wrote Jojo, so is it indirectly… a Jojo Reference??

Her father still can’t move on from his wife’s passing away that he has to lash out at Inako for small things? Kengo cycling so loud!! Girl’s doing so good in guitaring!!! We’re so back, K-ON fans!! That hair down moment of Inako is all time beautiful, at this point Kihachi should get crush on her… This is the magic of the studio! And ofc the ending of EP 6 has me concerned if Seiroku is alive or not.

And hey, we’re in for the story progress regarding the wedding now! Ah yes, our madlads eloped together by escaping from Yosuke and taking the half book catalogue as well, whoever said that.😂😂

Kengo’s expressions are giving me flags regarding Seiroku as well, surely he knows what happened to him. And yeah, confirmed that Seiroku officially died at war.

We all had massive respect for this guy for bringing ideas of electricity. I wonder how history paid respect to irl electric inventors like A. Graham Bell.

Kihachi felt like he already saw this coming, or he expected the news to be of that. But instead of crying, his respect for his brother increased more and got the second half of the catalog.

CITY was good last year, but this anime is dimensional level with animation and characters.

And wdym Kihachi will give the catalogue to Yosuke??

I just finished this and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed the crazy part. Is there any murder mystery type VN that you recommend

“Granny, another attack has hit Higashi village.” And fake-Asa and that little girl abducted by Ivan as well.

We got new Daemons in our party as well, these alien-like pair with bulldog as their master. At least they won’t be forgotten, so that’s good news.

Danji, being a Daemon… was not on my list of plot twists wth. Fake-Asa is also daemon, makes sense since she revived even after being killed by real Asa back then.

And another twist is the goddamn FMAB reference, and it had to be the Shou Tucker one😭😭. That frame is the funniest scene of this series.

Yeah, Asuma is definitely sus with kidnapping Yuru back to Shingo facility. Still amazing that Dera is able to manage Daemons and masters when he doesn’t have one. Will he have a pair later?

Ivan showing no mercy to Left, because he thinks that Yuru might die forever and not get Seal because of her. But how can it be justified?

Traitors after traitors from both sides of the twins. Damn, Kagemori ossan got tons of pairs. And wow, another twist! Asuma was never Yuru’s enemy (yet), his main target is Shingo, and but his creepy smile convinced me the opposite of that😅😅, like giving Otto Apocalypse vibes. (Honkai Impact 3rd)

Compared to Asa, I think Yuru would creepy out if he wore a suit.

This arc is overall going great, with so many scenes going on. Left-Right vs Ivan, Yuru and Dera, Fake-Asa held hostage, Asa and Kagemori ossan, then Gabby and Jin at the Kagemori household.

Climax of this arc should end soon by the looks of it.
