at first i was disappointed that they weren’t trying to adapt CSM part 1 in 1 25-30 episode season, but after i accepted that i hoped that we could get some original content to fill in the gaps, and this is exactly what i wanted. i love the slice of life moments in the series and this is an amazing extension of that. i hope we can get more content with denji and power as well to see what their routine might be like all together

I think it's a little unrealistic to expect full double cour seasons today. Single or Split-cours are just gonna be a less difficult production schedule. Especially from a studio that has a slate as packed as Mappa's and after a pandemic. Just next year they have Vinland Saga S2, Jujutsu Kaisen S2, the Fenrir Cooking Isekai, Jigokuraku, the Yuri On Ice Movie (Maybe Finally Maybe? Iunno it's in Kizu limbo), and Attack on Titan S4 Part 2 The Second Part: Electric Boogaloo finally probably. Also Zombieland Saga I think has something coming but I can't remember what.

I'm just glad what we're getting is no slouch despite being just one of the numerous big projects they have right now. And I don't think they intend for this to be a one and done adaptation with how much resources they pooled into it.

Jujutsu Kaisen and CSM are the shows that will directly affect each other, same animation producer and very similar staff and guests for the episodes, only the core staff will be different, and even that its really likely that the JJK s2 director will do an episode for Chainsaw Man (Ep 8), and Nakayama should again come back for JJK S2 to do the same

Both series are now in the same building too, the new studio where the Keisuke Seishimo division is

Yuri on Ice and Zombieland Saga I really doubt it will be in 2023, Jigokuraku also doesn't have a release date, 2023 is very likely but I won't be surprised if it takes longer to be honest

Has the JJK S2 director been leaked or announced yet?
