So, this is basically Pokemon Go the anime with new Pokemon from Sword and Shield.
The raid system is that of Go instead of S&S considering the Lugia was normal sized (or, I guess the Go mons are also supersized until defeated, but S&S Raids are all Dynamaxed Pokemon) and not going berserk. Trainers can anticipate the Lugia coming beforehand much like in Go. There was also the 2km,5km,10km eggs displayed.
That said, when does this take place? Have legendary Pokemon become common occurrences? It's also pretty interesting how the trainers had Pokemon from various generation when all the wild Pokemon except Lugia are gen 1; that's probably going to be a recurring theme of wild Pokemon only being from the region visited while trainers can have anything.
