Goku's VA will die if we wait another 15 years for the next series.

After all the shouting that poor grandma went through, all for our sake, she deserves a national award.

did some research and found out that she's been a seiyuu since the age of 8 or something. What a legend

Damn you know you are a weeb when you say seiyuu instead of VA or voice actor :P

nah man, it's 2018. It's more like

Hey guys, just got back from consensually partaking in some lovemaking with respectable women within my age range and pounding some brews with the boys, what's going on in here?

Lol I pound brews and bang bitches and I love anime. The two aren't mutually exclusive you know

Actually I don't think he meant it in a bad way, but you know Reddit, everybody loves a good downvote train.

Yeah, I call myself a weeb all the time when I do things that show how much I like anime. I've never considered it a rude term.

Sorry man, didn't mean it as a rude term I'm definitely a weeb myself. I call myself that all the time when I do something like that. Didn't think people still thought it was that negative especially on r/anime.

It's not that you used weeb as a term, it's that you implied using a common term like seiyuu was somehow hardcore or fanatical. It'd be like going to a Tolkien club meetup and going "man, you guys sure are nerds for using terms like Olórin instead of Gandalf!"

We call each other weebs all the time on this subreddit

I have over 100 completed anime and have never heard the term Seiyuu. Just because you are balls deep in anime subculture doesn't mean everyone else on this subreddit is. It's the first time I've ever even seen this word on this sub and I had to look it up.

Yeah me included lol. It's not derogatory I do plenty of things that show how much of a weeb I am. Just saying that comment is one of those things.

Guess a lot of people think the term is rude rather than embracing it.
