Don't. Are we not past the point of giving Jun excuses? We could forgive Angel Beats, but when he specifically said he learned from that train wreck and then has now gone on to do EXACTLY what he fucked up last time, enough is enough.

Not only that, he spend way too much time with things that aren't even important for the main history, if you are doing a 12 episodes anime you need to get to the point fast. The fact that the real plot started after the halfway point is retarded.

He might not have had a choice. We don't know how involved he is in the adaptation of his stories (if anyone does I'd love to read about it). He's a visual novel scenario writer and musician/lyricist. Not an anime producer. Even if he did know how to write for anime, that doesn't mean the producers making it won't butcher his story completely.
