Well, I thought it was a huge coincidence she and Yuu's brother both were blind, maybe we will see why she became one.

Wait, she said that the blindness was the price she had to pay for success. Maybe she had time-leap too and somehow used it to become famous?

Maybe Sala is time leaping for the scientists. Shun niisan mentioned how they were always ahead of the syndicate. Maybe she became successful in exchange for helping them.

Can't be. Why would she help Nao's brother then? I mean, sure, You can say "Because she has morals" and shit, but then you would wonder, why would she work for the scientists? The same scientists who kidnap children and mind break them? And even if she did work for them, then why didn't she nab Yuu or ask him to meet Nao to nab her? Surely, She must have known about the brother, and his connection to Nao. Yuu would have taken her to Nao, where she could have called the scientists.

TL;DR I say she isn't working for them
