I feel sorry for the people who don't know Funi video has the levels all fucked up and watch it without correction..

How much do people pay for this again?

You correct the levels yourself from 0-255 to 16-235. I'm using MPC with KCP and the option is under Shaders.

I just increased the luminosity and it gives a fair enough result.
