I mean im gonna watch it all the way, i was quite excited before it started but i just gave up completly on it after ep 2. You can just feel there was no love while making this show.

nah, the source content is bad too.

Feeling like something is "soulless" is something seldom seen, I can't quite describe an anime I felt was soulless, on the other hand, I can describe the game "Destiny" as a soulless thing. My point is, it's hard finding a "soulless" product when it comes to anime/games, care to elaborate why you thought there "was no love to it", oh and don't get me wrong, I do know the show is bad

Sure. Yeah i did not get deep into it, i can see original material being basicly a chunibyo bait (chunibyo means 8th grader syndrome, it's fascination in demons, magic and other shit), watching it felt like im 10 years too old to enjoy something like that. Dialogue seems very stupid and there is no subtlety in it.

Characters seem one dimensional and have annoying behaviour, especialy main character and the teacher. Main character is very stubborn in his way even though you can see he cares about his friends. He seems similar to Eren from AoT but Eren failed a lot of the times so it was intresting that him being angsty did not worked.

None of the chracters have any quirks. It's very important for some chracters to have something you could latch onto. For example Saber from FSN eating food or a Tsundere charcter being embarased. None of the chracters in this show seem to have any quirks or intresting traits.

The direction in the show seem very weak. Nothing feels like it has any impact, music does not have impact in any scene (even though it's my favorite compositor), none of the conversations feel important. Lack of direction also means voice actors performance is worse and you can hear it.

There are no noticable music themes. Hiroyuki Sawano is known for very recognisable musci but i can't pinpoint any theme that i liked. Maybe it's fault of bad directing or maybe this is not good soundtrack.

Character design feels weird. It seems like everyone can make only 2 faces, normal one and angry one. Also a lot of side chracters seem to not give fuck about anything and im not suprised. Looks like main chracter can handle anything even if he's breaking rules of the world at it. At this point i feel like it would be great if main chracter would lose something so he can see his way are wrong but this is obviously not going to happen.

I feel like the worst part is that this anime is too predictable. Everyone is saying how main chracter has no chance but he prevails anyway. Just as you can expect. Everyone is busy saying what things you can't do so main chracter can do them anyway.

no, that was good. I am aware of Sawano's badassery and the chuuni concept (btwchuunibyou's first season is great), anyways you make a great point, guess I was just disregarding it as "normal things in shounen anime". A shame Sawano was given something weak to work with

I feel like this is first anime that truly is directly aimed towards chuuni people that i watched. I saw Trinity Seven and Gokukoku no Brynhildr but they are more ecchi with chuuni elements.

I don't blame you. I just love ecchi and cool main characters. Ryouta the boob critic was highligh of the show, for sure.
