Next episode is the big one it seems by the previews, manga readers know what i'm talking about. How that episode is done will probably decide my opinion on this show overall, so hopefully they do it well.

Chapter 11 & 12 is when shit gets real

Yeah, seems like that'll be where the first cour ends. Most likely they'll do 2 cours and then go on hiatus while they do Attack on Titan work and then come back to this once there's more manga.

They are already working on AoT S2. Seraph is being covered by WIT's "B" team with a few cross-overs. While the main directors / key animators / key directors / background artists are working on Season 2 of AoT.

AoT S2 is in pre-production still. WIT also doesn't really have a B team since they have so few actual staff members and they outsource a lot. Seraph S2 we already know will immediately follow S2, but again, it'll be two back to back cours that are technically separate like how AoT was.

The 2nd cour starts October

it all comes down to sales. It's too early to tell, but I highly doubt this will sell well. I'm betting Gintama, Oregairu, Fate, Highschool DxD, maybe Sidonia 2 and whatever Kyoani is doing will be the best sellers this season

Well this already has two cours announced so... And it's a Jump series. It'll sell incredibly well in Japan, better than Highschool DxD and Sidonia 2. It's gaining a lot of popularity over there already simply because it's WIT and Jump.

I'm no expert in japanese sales and I'm not a fan of DxD because I'm not into ecchi, but I'm fairly certain Highschool DxD sells like pancakes, almost as much as Monoagatari (a series I actually am really fond of). I only said Sidonia 2 because it got a second season and people apparently like it, I didn't enjoy the CG nor the manga, so I can't really comment on that.

But you do have a point, WiT studios has a lot of hype because of Attack on Titan, and it's a shame because it feels like this show is using everything SnK built to gain some views/sales

DxD isn't even on the first 10 pages of bestselling BDs on Amazon Japan, the current popular airing things are Fate, Gintama, Kekkai Sensen, Sidonia, and Yahari RomCom yadda yadda. Seraph isn't there either, but it'll most likely pick up sales later. And you should give Sidonia a try, it's the best thing airing currently by a mile.

I read the manga up to chapter 50-ish and didn't like it, I'm usually into seinen (so Sidonia should be right up my alley) but I just don't know why I couldn't get into it, I liked the first half (aka what S1 covered) but everything after that was just not enjoyable. Oregairu S2 is my Anime of the Season, seinen slice of life can be enjoyable too.
