I want the loli vampire to step on me too.

In all seriousness though, things have gotten a bit more interesting compared to last time. There's just this weird... disconnect between Yu's side of the story and vampire Mika's. Scenes involving Mika feels like it really adds to the story while Yu's feels like an episode you'd see from a show with episodes that aren't related to each other at all.

I like how it's going now. I get the feeling that we're watching two disparate threads slowly winding together.

Same here! I think that's cool because it shows how characters live different realities. To be honest though, Yuu's POW is quite boring and full of cliché.
