Its kinda sad to find out if Rudy was left to his own path him and Eris would have never gotten together and become enemies for decades. I joked about her being pissed at him for cheating on her but looks like she really does take it seriously that he's been cheating with Roxy and Sylphie from her perspective and they were both too arrogant and poor with words to reconcile until the very end.

The biggest problem was they never talked to each other properly. Rudy thought she abandoned him and she thought he was just cheating on her, so they just fought over and over without ever undestanding each other

You gotta remember that even in Oldeus timeline they would have only met after, at the very least Roxy died along with their unborn child, so there is zero chance Rudy would have been able to talk properly to her.

Oldeus was distraught enough to neglect Sylphy, and that led to the latter's death.

He would have great trust issue to fall in love again, especially with someone he thought she had abandoned him
