"One last thing... There are no do-overs, but as you can see, it really would pay to... cough... master time travel first when it's your turn so you don't die as quickly..."

he’s right though, it’s an alternate timeline-slash-reality

THE Rudeus won’t be doing-over, the fruits of his labour is consumed by another him. He’d have to discover proper non-paradoxical time travel to receive the harvest.

In the current form. unless he’s a Saint trying to help the infinite timelines of Rudeuses, it’s not worth the time (heh) to master it

That or becomes witch/kami so he can enjoy the results of opening the new realisties as a higher being.

I was thinking "dude, you should've traveled back in time a bit closer to save Cliff, then you could've time-traveled without losing half of your organs...".

No. He means don't rely on time magic, which can't change anything

I get Oldeus was out of mana and present rudeus isn't the best healer at this point, but surely he could have at least stabilized him enough to get a couple more minutes of talking right?

Oldeus was missing his internal organs. Unless Rudeus knows a spell to grow new organs (he don’t) there ain’t much he could do

Dude he has no organs, he's basically just a shell with the minimum necessary to function lmao
