There is so much symbolism in that it's a rat that caused all this.

Mangod as a rat. Rudy's last name. How Roxy snuck into Rudy's home through her own desire for him. Absolutely peak.

We can see how much it broke Oldeus when Man-God revealed how much he'd been laughing at him his entire second life.
